  1. Good except for short battery life

    The product is designed to prevent a former problem involving batteries falling out of the collars. This new battery set-up does not fall out of the collar, but battery life is only 5 months. I prefer the old system involving batteries I could purchase inexpensively and install myself.

    the radio fence was the solution we needed for our high energy dogs (including one who is aggressive). it keeps them where they need to be, in our yard. you have to make sure that the batteries are current, there is an indicator on the collar. my aggressive dog went through the zone a couple of times, under unusual circumstances (neighbors goats in our yard) so it isnt foolproof, but still a good product.

    The only reason I gave the battery 3 stars is that they don't seem to hold their charge for very long. The instructions say the green light will blink while battery is still good but I have found it blinks red about a day after using battery for the first time, but when I test the battery in the collar it works fine. Don't know what to expect they are only 3 volt batteries. Overall a good product
