SportDog Conservation Outreach
At SportDOG we enjoy many of the same hunting opportunities and outdoor activities that our customers do. As a result, we recognize the importance of wise conservation and habitat-enhancement initiatives. We support conservation efforts by contributing time and funding to projects that
ensure hunters will have wild places to hunt wild game for generations to come. From habitat-enhancement projects at the local level to partnerships with some of the most proactive and respected national conservation organizations, SportDOG is proud to contribute. Our Conservation
Outreach Initiatives highlight our support for these grassroots organizations, which work with state, federal, and private wildlife and land management agencies to conserve wild game populations and critical habitat that wildlife depends on.

Quail Forever Sponsorship
SportDOG Brand™ is proud to support Quail Forever as the organization's exclusive e-collar sponsor. Quail Forever is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of quail, pheasant and other upland wildlife through habitat improvement, public
awareness, education and advocacy for sound land management policy. In it’s short existence since August 2005, Quail Forever has formed over 60 chapters nationwide.Turkey Creek Wood Duck Nesting Box Project
The American Wood Duck is North America’s most widely distributed native duck species. But around the turn of the century, over-harvest, and invasive land-use practices contributed to the near extirpation of this colorful and popular waterfowl species. Thanks to habitat enhancement and
population management by wildlife management agencies, sportsmen and conservationists, wood duck populations and distribution have improved significantly across North America. The Turkey Creek Wood Duck Nesting Box project is an example of how similar projects across North America have
contributed to the successful management of this waterfowl species. Chukar (Alectoris chukar) distribution in Utah, Nevada, and Idaho
The Chukar (Alectoris chukar) is a popular upland game bird species in parts of the western United States. Native to Asia, Western Europe, and the Middle East, it was introduced in North America in 1893. Little is understood about this species and SportDOG Brand™ is supporting the
research being conducted by Brigham Young University graduate student Aaron Robinson. Read more to find out how SportDOG Brand™ trainers are being used to help provide researchers information on the distribution and life history of this popular game bird. Conservation Organization
Event Support
The conservation and habitat enhancement work that conservation groups conduct all across North America, provides critical support to wildlife and land management agencies. In 2006, SportDOG Brand™ contributed in excess of $100k in product, fiscal, and in-kind support to assist these
conservation and habitat enhancement efforts that benefit hunters and wildlife alike. SportDOG Brand™/Quail Forever Training Seminars
Sportsmen recognize that a well-trained dog is not only a valuable hunting partner, but an important conservation tool as well. SportDOG Brand™ is currently partnering with Quail Forever and SportDOG Brand™ retailers conducting SportDOG/Quail Forever Dog Training Seminars at select
locations around the country.
