Create a "Bark Free" zone for one or more dogs. The PetSafe Ultrasonic Bark Control device emits an ultrasonic tone that only dogs can hear that interrupts their barking.
This tastefully designed tabletop bark control device can help safely control your dog’s barking from up to 25 feet away. Whenever your pet barks, a 2-second ultrasonic tone correction can be delivered either automatically or manually – your choice. No receiver collar is necessary, but your dog will learn to associate his barking with the unpleasant sound that is inaudible to most humans.

Puppies tend to bark more and it doesn't seem to bother them. Thought it would work on most pets inside

This bark control does seem to work but not all the time. There are times my dog is really worked up and barking a lot and the Bark Control doesn't seem to be working. Other times I can tell my dog is paying attention to the Bark Control, he'll bark once maybe twice and then stop.
I think it does work, except for when a dog is really riled.

Bark Control works great, I just show my dog the product and they know to stop barking. It really was great on our 3 week vacation to Calif. staying in motels with them. I highly recommend the product.

I had this product in the past and needed to replace it. The 2 I just received do not work as well. They rarely go off when the dog is barking, unlike the older version.

My dogs were trained not to bark in the house within the first 3 days. It's made for a much more peaceful existence with my "babies". I wish I'd bought one years ago!

Although we've only had this product for one day we've already seen a drastic improvement. While crate training our dog would bark for a minimum of 1 hour before bed and 25 minutes plus in the morning. After one night this has already changed so much. Our pet has only had one or two minute bark sessions since getting this machine. Definitely worth the money!

We have three dogs, one a miniture dash-hound, the second an Australia sheep hearder, a large dog and the third a mixed breed mut also large. The little gadget worked wonders on the large dogs , especially the Australia sheep hearder, whose barking was just about constant. However it does very little for our miniture dash-hound. I even manually push the button to discourage him and you can tell by the way he acts that something is happening, but he just looks at it and continues to bark. But two out of three isn't bad. The only other comment I have is that I wish it had and on and off switch. In order to turn it off you have to take the battery out of the back, and if you want your dogs to bark , like we do at night in "watch dog mode" you have to remove the battery every night and put it back in every morning, would be nicer just to push a button. I have also loaned this to a friend who has five miniture dash-hounds and she said it didn't work at all for them, so maybe it has something to do with small dog hearing?

I have a small maltese and she barks when other dogs bark. After using device for 3 months and replacing the battery twice, she just looks at it and continues barking. Unfortunately it hasn't worked for us. Don't be put off all animals are different.

I was excited about the product because the dog was driving us crazy. When it arrived, it seemed as if it worked for a short time but then he must have gotten used to the noise. It did not stop the barking at all. We have resorted to a spray bottle with water that he gets a shot of in the face when he barks and this method is working. Also, it does not hurt them in any way. Also, for the record, my dog is not deaf.
