You love your pet and she loves her freedom. Are you concerned her curiosity will tempt her to wander away or into the road?
You need an inexpensive pet fence system to keep her in your yard, and the Innotek Basic In-Ground Dog Fence will give your pet her freedom but also keep her safe at home. With this system you can cover up to 5 acres of property and contain multiple pets if each is wearing a receiver collar.
In the matter of a few hours, you can design a custom fence to meet your dog’s and your needs. The Transmitter sends a radio signal through the wire buried in your yard or you can use our pet fence staples to install the wire above ground. The wire acts as an antenna to send a signal to the Receiver Collar. Your pet hears a tone as she approaches the wire, and will feel a harmless static correction if she tries to leave your yard. This deters your pet from crossing the boundary. In the beginning, the boundary flags provide a visual “fence” for your pet to see where her boundary is located.
After you install your system, you will train your pet on a leash until you feel comfortable letting her roam freely. We recommend two to three training sessions every day lasting about 10 to 15 minutes each. Depending on your pet, it may take up to two weeks for your pet to become fully trained to the system. Once she is, you’ll likely find your pet has become more confident and enjoys the freedom the fence provides.
Cut Your Pet Fence Installation Time in HALF & Avoid The Task of Burying Wire. Use Our "Pet Fence Staples" to Install Your Underground Fence - Above Ground! Learn About Above Ground Pet Fence Installation.
This Pet Fence Kit includes everything you need to contain one pet in a yard up to 1/3 acre. With additional wire and flags, you can enclose up to 5 acres in size. With additional collars, you contain an unlimited number of pets.

I;m on my 3ed system in 9 years the problem I have is the transmitters keep going out. Is there any way I can just get them repaired? Everything else seems to hold up. Of course I deal with wire breaks sometimes but this is understandable.
RadioFence.com Response: If a transmitter fails within the first year, than manufacturer will replace it at no charge. After one year, there is a fee for replacement. We also offer replacement transmitters for for this fence, please see http://www.radiofence.com/innotek-standard-dog-fence-transmitter/

The dogs were self trained with in 3 days. Works great! The flags in the Basic System are extremely cheap having the stick made out of plastic and not wire as the extras we had purchased which were far superior. We also purchased extra wire and staples as we used the above ground system. The layout took less than two hours to cover the entire yard about 800 feet.

We have had the fence for several years, and recently added a second dog. This a a good system, and we have been very happy with its ease of use and simple installation. It is well worth the investment.

cheap and effective way to keep our dog in the yard. this is the third one we have had ion 10 years...they keep getting fried by lighting strikes (no fault of the product) so it is recommended to plug the receiver into a surge protector. other than that we love it.

The first transmitter died while placing the flags. Innotek was quick to replace the bad unit with a good one and so far so good. My dog, a small but stubborn Lhaso Apso, didn't really pay much attention to the beeping. Once I switched out the plastic prongs for the metal and introduced the shock he started paying attention to the beep and stayed away from the warning zone. I'm still training, but it looks like it will work well.
