1. Dog ate collar

   i have two small dogs who like to dig under the fench to get out. there was holes all around my fence. so in order to keep them from escaping i brought the fence and a extra collar.The collar worked great.

   It took very little time to train our dogs to stay within the boundary. In fact, with one of the dogs, we simply use the plastic contacts, so that he hears the beep and no shock--it took him just one day to associate the two and to never want to feel that shock again. It's a great relief to be able to let our two dogs roam on our property without worrying about them wandering into the road.

   This is an older model w/o some of the more recent features, but it works great and the price is very reasonable! I recommend it for one or 2 dogs.

7. replacement collar works good

   the replacement collar we bought is working good to keep dog in yard, although it is not a rechargable battery (which i would have prefered) it is definitely worth the $ it is larger than the original one we had but he is dealing with that ok. thanks for the discount price although i would have paid the $80 for it.

   Really thought my puppy would try to eat his collar but he hasn't. The collar has worked great. Only had to place the battery the first time and it's already lasted 3 months.

   "My dog used to stay home fine, but one month decided exploring the city was fun. Escaped 4 times costing me $300+ in dog pound fees. I got a little creative with the fence layout, and have many trees etc. but also made the fence loop around my garden.
   
   There was a DVD to teach how to train your dog over 2 weeks. I trained my dog (she is smart) for about 5 minutes, then turned on the fence. She stays in the fence and out of the unfenced garden 100% of the time now. I do not even use the collars anymore. After about 1 month I was able to keep the fence turned off and collars off. Probably is a good idea to put it one once a week."

    Though the shock is powerful enough to make a grown rottweiler scream out in pain, this product truly is effective. Follow the training guide provided and it will only ever take one shock for your dog to fully understand it's boundaries (personal experience, no guarantee on single shock teaching your dog.) If you are worried that you will never be able to contain your dogs then this product is the answer for you. Thank you Radio Fence!
