The Pet Fence Wire Break Locator makes finding breaks quick and easy. Often times, it is not possible to tell where your wire is broken unless you have the wire break locator.

It's not uncommon that you would need to dig up all your wire to find it. The Wire Break Locator will help you troubleshoot your system if there is a wire break indication on the fence transmitter or if the receiver collar is not functioning on the containment system but works during the short loop test.

Our Pet Fence Wire Break Detector can be used for any brand of underground pet fence to find wire breaks. This new and improved system replaces RFA-50.

    The underground radio fence break finder was a huge timesaver for us. It worked well to find the break quickly so our dogs are safe again! Our fence is around 4 acres through prairie, bramble & woods. Installing a new wire or finding the break without this device would have been a huge task. Our break was located and the wire was repaired in a short time. Thanks once again Radio Fence Co.!!!

    After installing detector it took about 5 minutes to find break. I can only imagine how look it would have taken with out this device.

    this product is simple to use, my husband and I located our break within 30 min. of trying the locator. Once finding the area, it assisted with the specific break location in a short amount of time. It saved us a lot of money, not having to call a locator company out to find it.

    This product has saved me HOURS of time locating wire breaks. You just turn it on, walk the fence until the tone quits, find it again after the break and replace the wire. Couldn't be easier.

    We were able to find an intermittent break in a fence surrounding 2.5 acres of rugged, heavily forested land in minutes using this tool. The dual tone feature made it easy to home in on the bad spot (I appreciated not having to walk the whole line). The only drawback I saw is that the signal gets pretty faint around the break - especially if it's a long way from the transmitter.

    Good quailty transmitter. Finding breaks is easy now. Needed it twice worked both times. Thirteen year old used it the second time. Grounding wire for transmitter is important. Trashed the radio supplied on first use due to moisture.

    The signal was not always easy to hear. Also since the fence was put in by the previous owner, it was difficult to determine the location of the wire. I would definitely buy this product again. Although the signal was sometimes difficult to decipher, this was definitely a life saver and prevented digging up my entire yard. I was able to find 4 breaks in the wire!

    I was able to detect wire breaks in a previously installed system that had been in opration for about 6 years.
