  1. Nylon collar does not last

Posted by Unknown on Nov 14th 2011

We thought this collar was a god send when we first started using it. She was peeing in the livingroom and it worked keeping her out. However, we have been through two $80 collars in 3 years. She only has back claws but manages to rip the collars to shreds and you have to replace the whole thing, not just the nylon. Super frustrating!!!

  2. IT WORKS

Posted by Faith on Oct 10th 2011

I put the fence in for our 3 cats. Our neighbor is a trapper of cats, after loosing two, we tried the fence. IT WORKS .... Admit I was skeptical and desperate. I could not be more confident. The training was speedy. Out of our 3 cats one proved to be a bit more difficult to train, which was only a matter of adjusting the level. Would highly recommend for cat owners.

  3. Cat Fence

Posted by Melodi on Oct 10th 2011

I searched the internet and asked website users if anyone had ever trained a cat. I was only able to find one response, which was positive. I was hesitant, but decided to try it. Not only does it work with cats, but they trained in just a few days. Using the staples to put it on the ground was incredibly easy. I would be happy to talk to any cat owners who would like a reference. I also think the collar would work for very small dogs.

  4. Radio Cat Fence is Great!

Posted by Whitefish on Oct 10th 2011

We bought the in-ground cat fence for our two cats to keep them within a fenced-in yard. They both "learned" about the fence quickly and have not escaped in over five months. No longer have to worry about our cats being injured while roaming around the neighborhood. Great product!

  5. This is a great product for cats or dogs

    Posted by the3atkins on Oct 10th 2011

My petsafe invisible fence works great for keeping our cat in the yard except she knows when the collar is not on her neck over the fence she goes. We also use the same collars for our Boston Terriers to keep them away from the fence and barking at the neighbor dogs. Have considered ordering one for the neighbor dog to keep him away as well!!! Extremely easy to install, best advice is not to over think it. If you have an existing fence attach it to the fence but follow instructions. Bury wire where needed at gates and such it is a snap!

  6. Works very well, highly recommend!

The cat learns quickly where the limits are established. Initial beep signals cat, if he/she persists then they receive a shock.

  7. Solved Problem of Cats Using Dog Door

Posted by Jan a dog and cat owner on Oct 10th 2011

I no longer fear my house cats using the dog door. Having your cats chipped doesn't help if they are eaten by a fox or owl. My cats adjusted to the collar without a problem but they are average size cats. The lowest setting was all that was needed to stop the problem. However, I do think the collar would be too large and heavy for kittens or very small cats.

  8. Radio fence works for cats too!

Posted by Kiki on Oct 10th 2011

It is easier to train a cat to this collar/radio fence that I could ever believe. It's very comfortable to wear daily, so that we don't have to worry about the at escaping when a door is open. [...] I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Don't give up! The only difficult part in training is trusting success..at first.

  9. Works

Posted by Matt on Oct 10th 2011

"We ordered this additional collar for the other cat now that it was trying to get outside. they must make escape plans together i swear. i recommend the collar, test it yourself before putting on your animal, the lowest shock setting is more than touching a door knob but you'll live.

only thing is the batteries only last like a month or so! and then the dang things are $8!! you can find JUST the battery and then pop the top off the black thing(it's only glued) and drop the new battery in. they're much cheaper than buying the whole piece, $3-4?"

  10. Love it

Posted by Kelli on Oct 10th 2011

We have a very small dog and needed something that wasn't too heavy. Now the 2 labs and mini doxi can all run togeter outside with no worries.
