  1. GOOD FOR DIFFERENT DOGS

    We started as the collars suggested by setting the collars on the 2 setting.That did not work for any of our dogs.On our 6 dogs we ended up with all on either 4 or 5. We had 1 dog that would start yelping and just run on through till we set her collar on 5 and one male dog that would go through and just shake his head as he crossed untill we set his on 5.Battery seem to be holding up good too. We had one that started flashing within the first 2 weeks,but I changed the battery and have had no more problems. I like being able to adjust to different settings for different dogs. Overall very pleased.

    We have used Radio Fence for 15 years with great success. This new collar is just as effective as all of our previous ones. Highly recommend this for a small dog.

    We have an Alaskan Husky, and huskies are known to roam. We had a hard time keeping him in our yard and away from the busy highway until we got our undergound fence. The fence and new ultralight collar work great! Well worth the price!

    This product has totally changed the way we enjoy our dog. We have a Westie, which while being a wonderful, fun little breed, also has the instinct to chase squirrels and rabbits off your property. Sadly, the only safe way for our Westie to enjoy the outdoors was on a leash.....until we bought this product.Super easy to install (just lay the wire in the grass), adjust the collar, and she STAYS IN OUR YARD. The true test of this product is when she is chasing a squirrel or rabbit, reaches the "shock zone", and absolutely stops. The squirrel may be only a few feet away, but our dog will not continue the chase. Our neighbor bought a Sheltie, and after seeing the success we had with our radio fence, they installed the same product. Now we have two dogs, in 2 adjoining yards, staying in place, with no fence between them. We can now let our Westie outside on her own, letting her free to explore the yard. We can play ball with her outside. She can run and exercise. We could never have done this before installing the radio fence.The only recommendation I would have for this product is to be sure to buy a good supply of "splices" for the fence wire. Mishaps are sure to happen, and the wire does get cut on occasion. The "splices" are a fast and easy way to repair things.[...] As long as I own a dog, I'll have a radio fence.Mark MillerFredericksburg, VA

    Love this product, I find, though, with my 4 dogs I have to buy one about every year due to breakage of some kind.

    Would like them a little more durable

    I have been using these in-ground fence collars for my 2 aussies for going on 4 years now. I had replaced a lost collar a bit less than a year ago and it stoped working. When I called to check on the warrenty I was happy to hear that the broken collar would be exchanged for a new one... no hassle. It is great to know the product is backed-up so well!

    We have a very stubborn dog, we also live on a very busy road. This is the only way we have been able to keep him from going to the road. He knows when he is getting too close to the line of the underground fence even without the collar. He has worn the pet safe collar for at least 4 or 5 years. it is the best underground fence collar that we have used. Thank you

    I have 2 dogs - a gsp 60 pound hunting dog and a 6 pound lap dog. Both dogs use this product and it works great. Only negative - I have had to replace the collars about every 1 1/2 to 2 years.
