    We live in Minnesota, so an extreme weather door was necessary. It works great, and I haven't noticed the area around the dog door being drafty.

    I have had pet doors before, but just the normal kind. Living in Colorado, the weather can be temperamental, to say the least. This is a great idea, an extreme weather pet door. It has kept out the snow and doesn't get all drafty like the other ones, and it is the same price as a regular store bought one. This was easy to install and I am liking it so far!

    We installed the door in a fiberglass door without any difficulty at all, simple to use instructions. We used duct tape around the entire tunnel for added insulation.

    We purchased this to replace our old, battered dog door. The difference is incredible! This dog door is well made and also looks nice. Basically it made our old dog door seem like an open window... the floor is much warmer now and so is the whole room. Great door for our German Shepherd. Easy installation, even for a novice do it yourselfer.

    I put up a fence and I do not have to worry about my dogs at all. They go in and out the dog door with no problem at all. I wish that I could have thought about it a lot sooner.Great way to potty train a dog!Thanks,[...]

  9. Second Extreme Dog Door I've bought!!

    This door works so good for my three mini poodles, they love being able to go in and out when they want. I have one that works great on a porch, only problem when the weather gets warm the pen they use for the winter is too small and the warm weather is causing to much oder on the porch. So I am putting another door in that will go out to a big yard where they can run and play. I am a single woman and I am able to install this door myself. Only bad thing this winter was if the wind was really strong there was a slight draft, I took care of this problem by just putting the cover on it.
