Does your dog bark too much? Maybe your neighbor's dog barks too much? Now there is a solution to excessive barking - even if it's coming from someone else's dog!
This decorative electronic birdhouse is really an Ultrasonic Bark Control Device to control nuisance barking! Designed to look like a birdhouse, the PetSafe Ultrasonic Bark Control System can hang in a tree, on a fence post, or anywhere outside.
When the Ultrasonic Bark Control Birdhouse detects excessive barking the microphone picks up the barking and activates the unit. This results in a safe ultrasonic sound that is audible to dogs, but not to humans. The offending dog hears the sound and will stop barking. Safe and effective for all breeds and sizes of dogs.

I have recommended it to all my friends that own dogs. It has been a blessing. Easy to use and worked after the first bark. Dog walkers in our neighborhood noticed that there dogs did not bark in front of our home anymore. We can now enjoy our quiet home inside and out.

We have two adorable Jack Russell Terriers living next door to us. Their barking could be quite annoying when it went on for hours at a time and there seemed to be no reason for them to be barking. We installed the "birdhouse" and now Saturday mornings are peacefully quiet as are our dinners on the back porch; and we can still enjoy our playful little neighbors.

I ordered this item because we like to sleep with the windows open. All night you can hear dogs barking. We purchased the ultrasonic bird house and could not believe it actually worked!! Not only did it stop our dogs from barking but we move it around the fence to stop the neighbors dogs from barking. The only down fall is it does not stop the barking when there are multple dogs, one of our neighbors has 7 dogs. Should have ordered more:)

Wow, this thing really works! I was skeptical after my father bought a bark deterrent for his house and it ended up not doing the trick. But this one truly does make dogs stop barking. We just moved into a new house where the neighbors are unfortunately the owners of 2 very excitable dogs. I don't know what breed they are, short medium-sized with a very high pitched bark. They had barked all day and night since we moved in a month ago but there has been nothing but peace and quiet since we put the birdhouse out by the fence. Before we even put it outside my fiance barked like a dog (he speaks dog fluently) and our dog gave the birdhouse a freaked out look, dropped the toy in her mouth, and ran off. I just ordered 2 more, another one for me for the other side of the fence where there are 2 big barking dogs (our yard is much wider than 50 ft) and one for my parents. I am so relieved to have found my blissful silence especially at night when all is quiet now. Sigh!

The concept is great except I had to place it close to the kennel in order for my older dog to react to it properly. Unfortunately one of the dogs got ahold of it and "ate" it the next day. SO if you have an older dog with hearing issues or "stubborn" issues, it's something to think about.

Our neighbors dog barked from 6 am until after 8 pm (yes, they were home all the time - both retired). This device "sort of" worked. We turned it to the highest level and aimed it directly into their yard. At least the dog began going to the other side of their yard to bark. Then, my petty neighbors put a concrete block in front of this device to stop the noxious noise only the dog could hear. We refused to sink to their level and would not move the device. They would have just moved the concrete block. Instead, we reported the barking to the homeowners association (which does not allow continual barking). We're sure others complained as well. The barking is not nearly as bad. We're sure it's because they were heavily fined for their continual refusal to stop their dog from barking (money is very near and dear to their hearts). Lesson learned: either conceal this so it can't be seen by your neighbors and be patient (at least the dog will probably move far away from this to continue barking) OR smile and be polite to your neighbors. Then, complain to your homeowners association, requesting they be fined or contact the police. Every town and city has ordinances against "nuisances" such as this. We recommend this as a last resort.....
