The Complete Spray Remote Control Training System. The PetSafe Spray Commander is a safe, effective and state of the art dog training collar.
It is comfortable on your dog and effective for any size pet. It does not have any secondary side effects such as pain or fear. The Spray Commander uses a harmless citronella spray to correct your dog's behavior. The hand held remote controls a spray collar worn by your dog. To use this collar, simply interrupt (spray) your dog while he is in the process of misbehaving. After receiving a few sprays your dog will avoid bad behavior in order to spare himself another spray.
This training collar can strengthen your relationship with your dog because the correction is associated with the action and not you.
Due to FAA Regulations this item ships only via UPS Ground shipping.

I love the ability to control the signal or spray when I believe it's appropriate by use of the remote. This is really an outstanding product in promoting good behavior at 1 of 3 levels. The spray is not harmful and I think the sound of the spray is also a good tool to reinforce the correction. I just had to use the spray once (preceeded by the sound button) and now all I have to do is use the sound button and I get a positive response! lFor the price you can't go wrong and this is the only model I will buy.

Like the product. However, one battery was dead upon arrival. You said you would send out another, but haven't see it as yet.

My 3 year old Havenese, Chloe barks constantly at anyone she see's walking by our house & our 6 year old Yorkie, Cooper hates loud trucks, such as UPS & mailmen. Within one day of wearing this collar, Chloe & Cooper both understand that I will give them a warning "no bark" & if that fails, I will push just the sound button and they stop instantly & run to me! I do have the device filled with citranella, but don't need to use it. I only wish I would have gotten this years ago!

This product was delivered right on time. The concept of the product is great, however the unit is so heavy that it kept coming loose, so loose that my dog even lost it one time. When I finally figured out how to keep it on him, the spay does not do the job it is supposed to do. It sprays the fence, his neck or ear. He is slow to learn and with the lack of control of the spray, I fear it will take a while to train him not to do what he is not to do. I'm a lot more stubborn than he is, so I wont give up. Eventually I will have him trained. He is to precious to give up on.

The Innotek Spray Remote Training Collar worked perfectly for our new rescue, Roscoe! By combining verbal commands and the tone function, we were able to train him to keep his barking to a minimum (he is a Hound after all) and to notify us when someone is approaching the house. I'm thinking of getting one for our neighbors as a House Warming present....

This collar was suggested by our trainer. It works really well to get your dogs attention and make him stop whatever he is doing. My only complaint is on the product itself. They get clogged easily, ( already had to return one)and if you don't turn the knob to off after each use the batteries run out really quickly. I really like that it has the remote, wish you had the option to buy more than 1 remote.

My one-year old bull terrier has been obsessed with doing things he shouldn't -- entering certain rooms, jumping up on counters, etc. These problem behaviors have been curbed by using the spray commander. Two or three well-timed spray blasts, and he made the connection, and the problem behavior has been curbed. I only wish I had started using this earlier. Be sure to get the newer version, which is water proof and better constructed. Although some have reported that the batteries run down quickly, I have not had a similar problem. But I am careful about turning the unit off, except for those times when I intend to focus on training.

My experience with collar, a+! Rescued a jack russell, who was a jumper. he easily cleared the five foot chain link. Ordered the collar, and after three jumps with spray, no more jumping. He thinks the fence sprayed him,and would give the fence hell! He would look to see if any human was watching, so could hide inside and spray without being obvious. Great invention and safe!

Buy this collar.
This is the second remote control citronella collar my dog has had. The first one was nothing but trouble:
unreliable, didn't work in wet conditions and not much range & ate batteries for breakfast. When it DID work, the results were incredible, but it was so unreliable as to be almost worthless for training.
One of the reasons I needed a good collar was my dog's love of chasing cars. An unreliable collar is no safeguard, and I love my dog. THIS collar is the REAL DEAL!
The range is excellent. I've had it for over a month of daily use in snow and slush and water, with my dog off in the woods (did I mention that the range is 250 feet???!!). It's been super reliable (works every time), and is still on the first battery. My dogs comes to the beeping sound (his recall is becoming very good even without the beep -- never mind the citronella!) And no more car chasing - at least not with the collar on.
