A harmless mist helps you train your dog. The PetSafe Spray Remote Dog Training Collar helps you manage your dog's behavior.
Press a button on your remote and the collar releases a burst of lemon scented spray towards the dog's snout to correct his behavior. This training collar is safe, comfortable, effective for any size pet and has no secondary side effects.
The hand held remote controls a spray collar worn by your dog. You may choose from 4 levels of spray, as well as sound tones to reinforce your training. After receiving a few sprays your dog will avoid bad behavior.

We have a very excitable and energetic 4-month old Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix puppy. Although he is very smart and wants to please, his age and breed make him easily distracted. With the training collar, he is focused on the task at hand, and his training has improved tremendously. With this collar, we have been able to teach him to come, sit, stay, not bark, lie down, and stay out of forbidden areas. We live in the mountains, so cougars, bobcats, and bears are of concern. Last week we had a bobcat in our backyard. Our puppy started to bolt toward it, we used the negative tone and said the command, "STAY", and our puppy sat down and stayed by our side! We seldom need to use the spray as he responds well to the tones, but for those times when reinforcement is needed, the spray is very effective. We have experience with the electronic barking/training collars that "zap" the dog, and found the dogs develop a fear that style of discipline and the dogs would run when we pulled out the collar. With this collar, the dog comes up to us and waits patiently as we put it on him. We recommend this product, especially as it is a non-harmful way to train and discipline.

The first collar we received sprayed citronella 1 time then stopped working. The manufacturer sent a new one, which arrive in a few days, which so far is working. It is an effective tool, with our Jack Russell now reluctant to jump up on people.

SASSY, OUR GSD, RESPONDS WONDERFULLY TO PETSAFE. WE SELDOM HAVE TO USE THE SPRAY. THE NEGATIVE BUTTON SEEMS TO WORK. I'M SURPRISED BECAUSE SHE IS QUITE STUBBORN, YET THIS WORKS GREAT. I LOVE ALLOWING HER OFF THE LEASH AND KNOWING THAT SHE WILL COME WHEN CALLED - AND STOP BARKING WHEN TOLD TO - AND STOP JUMPING ON PEOPLE, ETC. SHE AND I ARE BOTH QUITE HAPPY WITH THIS COLLAR/REMOTE.

This system is the answer to my training problem with my hound mix puppy. She is easily distracted and extemely active and exuberant. A single beep is all it takes to get her attention if she ignores the first quiet voice command (no more raising my voice!) I rarely have had to use the spray. She is far more responsive to normal voice commands now. And I love that RadioFence offers a one-year warantee on this product.

Great Product! I have a sporting dog that I never trusted off leash until I purchased this product. I use the tones for recall. I can count on one hand how many times I had to use the spray function. It would be nice if there was one collar for the radio fences and the remote spray collar. Maybe in the future. PetSafe sell a good product.

This unit has been very effective at improving my dogs' obedience off leash when they become dog distracted by other dogs.

"our basset likes to eat the other dogs waste. as soon as she approaches the waste i give her a beep and that is usually enough to stop her, if not we spray her with the citrus and that makes her run.
the battery last about 3-4 days before we rechg. hopefully she will grow out of this problem and we can put the collar away.
one issue is our dog has a lot of skin and fur under her neck so we have to leave the collor real lose on her so the spray doesn't just go on her fur."
