The PetSafe Standard Dog Fence Transmitter is for the Standard Dog Fence Model PRF-3004W, however it will work with any of the PetSafe brand dog fence collars. If you need to replace your Standard Dog Fence transmitter the part number for this dog fence transmitter (found on the back) is RF-1010M or RF-1010.

    We love our underground invisable fence to keep our Yellow Lab in the yard. Katy does go through the fence on occasion, but 99% of the time she knows her boundaries and stays where she is suppose to. It is a great thing to be able to let her out and not worry about her running off or going on the road. Only thing is as soon as there is a storm it seems to hit it almost immediatley if not unplugged. We now have the protector and hopefully we don;t have to replace transmitter again.

    power surge from winter storm got our original box we had had for maybe 5 years. about two months after purchasing the new one, lightning zapped it. worked fine until then! our small dog wont cross it for anything, but our big dog needs more training because he will cross it.

    We live in a rural area on a busy main road. We have 2 german shepherd dogs that are our precious family members. The radio fencer with stubborn dog collars has not only kept them from chasing deer, bunnies and all the other critters that abound, it has kept them out of the road. These fencers make dog ownership much more enjoyable and worry-free. We LOVE ours and would never try to live without it. Thank you PetSmart for this great and effective product.

    Good product that works as advertised, and does control the dog in conjunction with the collar the dog wears. Lack of "surge protection" caused mine to not operate, and I had to replace it, due to a possible power surge. Now have a replacement that was easy to purchase, and had to install my own "surge protection" to plug the unit into. Internal protection should be provided with the product or a note stating to use external surge protection, to protect sensative inner electronics.

    The transmiter went out after years of service. Radiofence had just the transmitter for sale at a price much lower then a new system
