The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Collar is for the "Hard-Headed" Dog. Featuring four levels of stimulation plus vibration as an added deterrent. This is a true breakthrough in pet containment.
The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Collar is for the occasional hard-to-train dog and is compatible with all PetSafe, Radio Fence and Pet Guardian Brand underground dog fences. It weighs just 3 ounces and is three times more effective than our regular dog fence collars with stubborn or hard to train dogs.

The Stubborn Dog system worked great! My dogs were "fenced in" within one week. My only concern is the durability of the wire itself. I have had to splice the wire a couple of times where it was stapled to the ground and not buried.(deer running through the yard) The splices do not always hold the first time. I went back and buried the wire everywhere and I have not had any additional issues. I would reccommend this product to anyone that loves their pets! Piece of mind is priceless.

My family was sure this would not work. BUT now they will tell you this is the best product ever!! We have a large mix breed about 50 to 60 pound that never leaves the yard. I even trained a 9 year old beagle basset to stay in the yard with this product. Best buy ever.

I have been very pleased with the stubborn fence collar receiver-I had used the standard receiver until my dog got larger and braver. He then started breaking through the fence-He is an active 90# Golden Retriever-Since obtaining the stubborn collar, he has not broken through the barrier even once- I feel confident with this product and would purchase again. I am a lifetime customer. My dog's life depends on his safety and this collar ensures this.

Have a large Airedale. The system is 6 yrs old. Had to replace the transmitter once because I had no lightning protection Have had only 2 breaks in last 6 yrs!! Puts my mind at ease. My dog is safe and does not roam the neightborhood getting in trouble!! Have recommended this to other who have purchased it and are happy with it. Put it in by myself!!

I recently had my first stubborn dog situation. I've had several Brittanies over the years but "Chance" simply was undetered by the conventional collar. This collar corrected that immediately! Now I don't see a reason to have anything but this receiver on all my dogs.

We have great success with our dogs and this product. However, I just had to order another one after two years as the attachments from the box to the collar broke. I am hoping that the next collar lasts longer.

I bought 2 new stubborn dog collars for my 2 westie boys who were almost 2 years old. The regular collar worked, but they were willing to take that shock. One dog I had to go to level 3 with and one only level 2. It does provide a powerful shock that truly makes them stop and think. I'm happy with my purchase although the feature I miss is the ability to give them a better warning or beeping before they get zapped. These collars give about a 6 inch beep before they get zapped. I like the smaller collar for that "warning time", but they didn't keep them in the yard.

We have 3 dogs and on occasion have used this collar on 2 of them. In a pinch, it can be used on any dog if you use the lowest setting.

I have 4 dogs on our 4 acres. The street runs along our property. We constantly have people either walking their dogs, kids or riding bicycles.
Bo Didlee (Aussie Shepard) and Jackson (German Shepard) are very stubborn, territorial dogs.
The Stubborn Dog Collar was the only thing that kept my dogs on our property and out of the street. My other 2 dogs do fine on the regular collar.

We live in the mtns of PA. Bassetts are known to put their nose to the ground and head out without looking back. Before the fence our two bassetts would head into the woods as soon as we turned our back. We would call them and hunt for them, but when they catch a scent there is no turning back. It was awful. We installed the petsafe dog fence and flags, fencing a full acre of land. We use the petsafe stubborn dog collars & trained the dogs for "only" two days and they never again left the yard.
