  1. Great flexibility

Posted by Pat on Apr 24th 2013

I had purchased the wireless that did not meet my parameters in the yard, so I went back to my old favorite. I have had the in-ground system at my house for almost ten years & it still works great. I purchased this one for a family member's Lab that is dumber than a rock. The flexibility of placing the wire is a great benefit, as we wanted the dog to have the whole backyard & very little space up front. We used over 700 feet of wire. It's a big job, even with a sidwalk edger, but so worth it. Both dog & family are very happy with the results.

  2. I can actually open my front door thanks to this great product from Radio Fence!

Posted by bobby c on Mar 21st 2013

Before I could open my front door to get the mail, get the pizza from the delivery driver, or sales people, I would always have to make sure the dog was far away and go super fast. He would BOLT out the front door as soon as it was opened. Not anymore! Thanks to this great fence from Radio Fence he has learned that behavior like that is negative, and he waits for me to tell him he can go, and for our walks. It didn't take long for him to learn and now, with the warning sound, he doesn't even have to feel the light shock.

  3. Should have done it years ago!

Posted by Unknown on Jul 31st 2012

This is the best thing I have ever spent money on for my dogs. We covered about 4 acres for them. They have plenty of room to run and roam through woods and are safe doing it. My smaller and older dog had a little bit of trouble understanding why she couldn't go in some of the places she used to, but that's behind us now. Thanks for a good product and good directions on how to use.

  4. FREE AT LAST

    Posted by L.L. on May 7th 2012

My poor Border Collie was stuck on a run literally. The tie out on the run would get wrapped around trees, and Molly would be stuck. Now Molly is free to run the yard and be the active Border collie she was meant to be, and I don't have to worry about her not having enough space to run. The fence really works and Molly learned her bounderies very quickly. Thank you for your product.

  5. This thing works

Posted by joe on May 7th 2012

We bought this system and placed the wire around our yard when our Rottie was about 3 months old.

With no other training but to show him the ""beep"" zone a couple of times he is now over two years of age and weights 150 plus and has never crossed the barrier. We moved, placed the wire around the new yard and with no problem he located his boundary and has not left the yard.

  6. Freedom for Hunter

Posted by Unknown on Apr 17th 2012

Wow! I am so surprised at how well this worked after only a few times around our perimeter together. I have complete confidence in letting Hunter, our yellow lab out without worrying about him running off. We picked him up several times after he's run away and it was time to do something about it before we lost him for good. We have 3 acres "fenced in" for him. Like one of the other reviews said...I should have done this years ago! This was fairly easy to set up and almost instant for the training.

  7. Daisy is here to stay

Posted by Judy Jones on Apr 13th 2012

The product is great and gives us a sense of security. Our 70 pound boxer, Daisy, was almost 2 years old when we rescued her. We think she was a run-away but that is behind her now, thanks to ourzapping fence. Her training took 2 days. Thank you -- she is too precious to lose.

  8. Tamed our high-strung pup

Posted by Shorthair on Apr 13th 2012

After our sixteen year old German shorthair passed, we got another one. At 6 months, even after long runs in the nearby gamelands, he would bolt from the yard, taking off and returning 15-30 minutes later. This fence worked like a charm. It only took him about a week to get totally used to it and we haven't had a problem since. It was easy to install and works great!

  9. Peace of mind and dogs are free at last!

Posted by lab Lover on Apr 13th 2012

We have 2 Labs and live on a small acreage in a rural neighborhood. Recently more homes have been built nearby which created a situation requiring us to keep our dogs "fenced in". Our dogs are friendly and love people and were beginning to roam further and further away and some of the new neighbors didn't care for our dogs intrusion on their property. Finally, we decided to try the Radio Fence and collar. In brief, it's the best thing we could have done for our dogs and our peace of mind. We installed the system ourselves and ran about 1500 feet of wire which covers about one acre. The hardest part is digging the small trench to lay the wire in. Instructions say you don't have to but I felt more comfortable sinking it about an inch and a half. The rest of the installation is a breeze. Followed the instructions for training the dogs and within 3 days that was it. One of the dogs only took one day and never crossed the line again. The little white marker flags are crucial for training purposes. Be sure your dog sees the flags and then follow the training instructions. My dogs haven't had to be in a closed fence since we got the system. We've had it about six months and no longer have to worry about the dogs at night, when we're away or any time when they're outside. One more tip: If your fence crosses your driveway and you are taking your dog somewhere in your vehicle, be sure and remove the collar before you leave. Might get a bit exciting in the vehicle for a bit if you forget!! Thanks Radio Fence!

  10. Absolutely Fantastic!

    Posted by Coop228 on Mar 26th 2012

After Lasik eye surgery, this fence is the best money I have ever spent. No more worries of where my dogs are. They are in the yard. Period. I have 5.5 acres fenced and love it. Have had it for 3 years. Worst problem is with this much wire, if there is a problem it is hard to find. I would absolutely buy it again. The peace of mind is well worth it.
