Plus, its vibration option is ideal for hearing-impaired or senior dogs!

This fence has literally saved our family alot of stress and worry. We recently moved to a home in the country and didn't want to have to privacy fence the entire yard in (our rowdy Labrador could climb every other kind of fence). This fence offered our dogs room to run without worry. It was so easy to install with the ground staples and we have only great things to tell our friends about this product! The best part is the collars are able to be placed on different settings for our dogs that have different correction levels.

I have 3 dogs, one large male and 2 small females. We fenced in the front portion of our yard, but could have easily fenced in the entire acre. I love watching them run at full speed and not having to worry about them. Best money I've spent on them yet!

It only took three corrections. Now I feel 100% comfortable allowing Logan out on his own without worrying. He is an 85 pound Labrador as stubborn as any I have ever had. With my old fence he would stick his neck up to the correction area and wear the battery down. This no longer happens. I have a feeling that this battery will last 10 years! (just kidding) He no longer purposely activates the corrective actions. We live on a corner lot in the city with thousands of distractions, bikes, joggers, motorcycles ... not to mention all the wild life. No More Worries!

Our new German Sheperd puppy was fully trained within days and has only went over the fence once following her training. Love it!

The PetSafe Stubborn Dog fence is working like a charm. We live in the country on a not-so-busy road, but we're concerned that our 8-month old retriever may wander into the road. We have 12 acres and it was easy to install around the whole area. The dog has learned not to go under our present fence or through the open gate. One comment is that we didn't need the ground staples to install the fence. There were several options to installing the fence above ground.

We tried everything to contain one of our three 150lb dogs. Although our yard is fenced with wire on 3 boards she managed to go over, under and/or through when a distraction was strong enough. This included deer, skunks, ground hogs or a desire to swim in the neighbor's pond or chase their horses. Although we never wanted to use an electric fence, we didn't know what else to do.
It is winter so we decided to attach the wire to our fence. The only problem we had was laying out the plan and then pulling off the wire. The splices have held up well through multiple snow storms. Training was pretty easy. Our girl only needs the second correction level. Even though she has a heavy coat we did not need to order the long prongs. It took about 1 week before she decided that she wouldn't even test the waters. She still barks but remains about 10 feet from the flags. An added bonus is that it has stopped the chest bumping at the fence when an animal approaches. We are so pleased that we plan to purchase collars for the other dogs and let them join us in the front yard.

I use this for my two rottweilers. Keeping a dog chained up or caged is not something i want for my dogs. this has been a lifesaver for us. installing the fence was very easy. i would and have told everyone i know that might be looking for an altervative to keeping a dog chained or caged. this is wonderful. i love it!!

We have a 75 pound Boxer who is notorious for jumping on our fence and breaking the boards. We were constantly having to replace broken boards so that he couldn't get into the neighbor's yard. We decided on trying the Petsafe in ground fence and have been very impressed. Our dog is very hyperactive and when he gets himself worked up barking at the neighbor's dogs it is hard to get him to listen and obey commands. He also paced up and down the fence line barking at the neighbors dogs which was not only annoying, but he had worn a path in the grass so that every time he went outside, we would have to wipe the mud off his paws before letting him back in. Once the fence was installed and he experienced the correction a couple of times, he seems like a different dog! We have not had to replace a single board on our fence and the grass is growing back along the fence line again. We no longer have to have a towel by the door to wipe muddy paws and he doesn't bark at the neighbor's dogs as much anymore! One of our favorite things about the in ground fence is that we can enjoy family time in the front yard without worrying about the dog annoying the neighbors. He stays in our yard even when there are other dogs across the street. The gate to our back yard was wide open for 5 hours today (because I forgot to shut it after mowing) and my dog didn't even think about trying to leave the yard! This fence was well worth the money and time it took to install!

We have 2 large dogs.Only the Lab/Coonhound is a fance jumper. We weaved it through a chain link fence. The training was different than for a yard without a fence.Maybe I hurried it too much. He was afraid at first, but now he knows his safe area. Deer and rabbits have run (hopped) past and he still respects "the power" of the fence. However,he is frantic to get at them for a bit. We are so glad it works. Also, whenever I have phoned the company with a question, they have been great.

We purchased a stubborn dog electric fence because we adopted a beagle that would not listen. The dog was smarter than we gave him credit for. Within 2 weeks he had learned his property limits and stayed on the property. We would highly recommend radio fence to anyone.
