If you already have your dog fence wire installed and need to replace your current dog fence transmitter and collar, you can use the PetSafe Stubborn Dog Radio Fence Without Wire. You can replace any brand of dog fence with this kit. Simply connect your wire to the transmitter then place the collar on your pet
The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Collar has four levels of correction plus vibration in the warning area for an added deterrent. Even dogs that resist training respond well to this system. With 4 higher-intensity settings, these harmless electrical stimulations work so effectively that most dogs will learn to stop in their tracks at the sounds of the early warning tone before any stimulation. Plus, its vibration option is ideal for hearing-impaired or senior dogs!

Better than the $1,500 professionally installed system that was NOT working and was costing me frustration and money to resolve with the installer. I replaced the control box in ten minutes and expanded the loop to full 2 acres, and had my hyper-active Labrador-mix trained in one day. I did all the wire loop work, but could have hired a kid to twist and bury the wire per the clear instructions. My dog and neighbors are happy too.

We have a mini schnauzer that escaped on a daily basis. Now that the fence is installed he has not escaped once. Even when the collar is off he does not run away which is amazing to me. This worked great on my very determined escape artist.

I am a repeat customer for these underground fences. The Deluxe package worked well with my last two labs, but this one is a big, strong, stubborn female lab and needed the extra help of the "Stubborn Dog" package. It works better than I expected. Installation, as usual, is a little work for fencing an acre up here in the mountains, but an edger and a few tools did the job just fine. I don't think you'll find a better or more dependable system on the market. Note: my kids are still using my old system at their new home (bought more wire) and it's still working great after 22 years.

We chose PetSafe Radio Fence as a replacement for a Radio Fence that is over 15yr's old. (still working) We got a new English Setter puppy and wanted to be able to adjust the corrections. The old unit doesn't do that .We fenced in about a acre and After a week Miss Willow is staying in the yard pointing at every critter that walks or flies. GREAT PRODUCT. Thank you

I have used the underground fence system for several years. I own a Weimeraner and a Chocolate Lab and the large collars work great for both.

House we purchased was already equipped with an invisible electric fence. Previous owners were kind enough to leave us one collar. We had to purchase one more. All was fine but battery replacements were expensive. Then one collar receiver stopped working even with a new battery. We could not keep up with the cost to replace collars and batteries. After almost 2 months with no active fence for one dog, we finally purchased Radio Fence and 2 new collars. Within one day, both dogs re-learned the boundaries. We are happy to see they will be safe. We are thrilled to have to only buy 9V batteries every 3 months.

Used to live in a house with a fenced yard. Moved to an area where boundary fences are not allowed. We followed the directions pretty much as specified. The dogs got used to the boundary flags quickly. They did wander too far a couple of times and got zapped. Hasn't happened since. The dogs chase squirrels and deer, but only right to the edge of the yard and then stop.

We live in a rural area, bordered mostly by tidal area, when the tide is out there are three islands that are accessible, The radio fence keeps the dog in a sizable yard, which makes a safe environment. We have had several cats marooned on islands when the tide comes in. Bay of Fundy, highest tides in the world. So for our Siberian Husky it is a great product, no need to tie her up. Thankfully.
