Do you have a hyper hound who is hard to train? The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Underground Fence is quick and easy to install, reliable and safe, and a very effective solution.
The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Collar has four levels of correction plus vibration in the warning area for an added deterrent. Even dogs that resist training respond well to this system. With 4 higher-intensity settings, these harmless electrical stimulations work so effectively that most dogs will learn to stop in their tracks at the sounds of the early warning tone before any stimulation. Plus, its vibration option is ideal for hearing-impaired or senior dogs!

I used the two wire layout as a loop wasn't possible. It installed easily with just a shovel turning up the ground and laying the wire in the cut. Following the directions the fence worked the first time.

This is the one product (we've used others) that really works for our dog. We replaced an older model collar, and after one trip into the "vibration only" zone, our dog stays back closer to the house, right where we want him. This is a great product, great service!

My neighbor and I have 8 acres (4 each) and we have three extra large dogs between us. We got a "wild hare" to install underground fencing on ALL 8 ACRES! We have 90% woods, with several streams and wetlands. The system works just like it said, we were innovative when going through the wet areas and everything has worked like a charm. All three dogs are trained and doing well with this system.

We live in a neighborhood on a 5 acre lot. Our dog Buddy needs to be able to be outside but with boundaries and this has worked perfect. I would highly recommend. Thanks for a great product.

I recently bought I home that had an existing older RadioFence; however the transmitter was blown. I replaced the transmitter with a new one which works great; the only confusing thing was that the older system had a 3rd wire for a ground which the new transmitter didn't seem to accommodate. It was a bit confusing but I just left the ground wire out and it appears to work fine. We have a St. Bernard and have the system on the lowest setting and it keeps her around!
There is one draw back; I have the width of the boundary warning turned up as high as it will go but there is little to know warning before the shock. I assume that is because my system incorporates about 4 acres.

I have a very stuborn beagle mix dog. She would see an animal and be gone hunting. I installed this fence and she now wont go near the fence. The only con I have is I have to reset the power unit every so often. it stops sending signal.

Once my dog had a taste of life outside our fence, there was no stopping him from digging a new hole - almost every day. After installing the wire at the base of the fence (couple of hours total,) my problem was solved. Now, Wilbur doesn't even try to go by the fence - even when he is not wearing his collar.

We have a German Short-haired pointer who lives to hunt and chase birds. He runs like a race horse, and it is funny to watch him run from one end of the yard, about 1/2 acre, to the other at full throttle and come to a screeching halt. The other thing I like is that is takes a basic 9volt, easy to get, battery. Those specialty, expensive, hard to find batteries are a pain.

I purchased this fence to keep my two German Shepherds in the yard and I absolutely love it. It was easy to install and very effective. I didn't have a lot of time to train so I pretty much put the fence up and the collars on the dogs and put them outside. I have had the fence for about 10 months and my dogs have not jumped the fence since I installed it. Can't say anything bad about this product.
