Product Description

Get a Smaller, Smarter and Lighter Dog Fence For your Prized Pooch. Keep the family dog safe in the yard with this underground pet fence.

The PetSafe UltraSmart In-Ground Fence provides an effective way to keep your dog not only in the yard, but also clear of out-of-bounds areas such as flowerbeds, gardens, decorative shrubbery, and pools because the collar is also compatible with the PetSafe PawzAway Indoor Pet Barriers and Outdoor Pet Barriers.

When your dog approaches the buried wire, a radio signal tells the dog's collar to administer a brief, harmless stimulation. With three levels of correction plus tone-only mode for training, you can find just the right level of correction for your pet. Advanced safety features including 24/7 battery backup let you rest easier knowing your pet is always protected.

  1. Sadie in training

Posted by Adele on Aug 27th 2013

We were disappointed that this electric fence was not compatible with the one our son bought from you. I would think you could make them compatible. We were hoping to take our dog to their home to play with their dog but we can't now because no way to contain our dog. We still don't have our dog running loose in our yard. We live on a busy street and we are still scared she will run thru the fence, which she did last week. Still in the training mode.

  2. Works great

We have a German shepherd and two little rat dogs. The shepherd learned quickly and after getting shocked a few times, she stays in the boundaries. One of the rat dogs wont leave the porch since the shock scared him so bad (the dog is useless, not the fence). The shepherd also likes to chew on the smaller of the rat dogs, so the collar was ruined pretty quick. However, I drilled two holes into a regular collar and mounted the unit on it, so the damage was very minimal. Only problem is I have to unscrewed it from the collar when it needs to be charged. I live in rural Alaska and don't want a fence around my acreage. This was a great alternative and I am in the process of expanding the coverage area to a larger part of my property.

  3. THANK YOU!!!

We were at wits end with our labrador digging up our sprinkler system in our floor beds. Thanks to our Innotek Under Ground Electric Fence our problem is solved. It only took a couple of times before our dog figured out he shouldn't be in our flower bed. The great price and reliability of this product saved us time and money while educating our pet on areas to stay away from.

  4. It has done the trick!

Posted by Luckydog on Oct 24th 2011

Our golden retriever, Lucky, was a very sociable guy. We often got calls from neighbors that he had wandered over to spend time with them. But when he started crossing a busier road, and making new friends farther away, it became a danger and a problem. This fence has done the trick. Even when the collar isn't on, he stays within the confines of the fence area. The only downside to me is that we have to take the collar off to charge it. But, as I said before, he knows his boundaries and doesn't challenge them, even while the collar is off! And for large dog owners: The collar is plenty big, at least twice as big as Lucky needs. So unless your dog is HUGE, the collar should fit!

  5. Works great - it got the dogs attention!

Posted by Bearhawker on Oct 21st 2011

The charge indicator light on the collar is great. The signal is much stronger then the previous system that we had. The dogs no longer run through where the wire is buried a little deeper under the driveway! The collars are hard to buckle up and I am wondering how long the little screws that hold the collars to the receiver are going to last - wait and see!

  6. Works just like it says

  7. very good containment

Very good product in the fact that it works very good when working. My only complaint was in the collar's battery did not last long and difficult to replace.

  8. Works great

Works great keeps my dogs in the yard. They caught on really fast, the flags definately help with that. Also use treats to show them going outside is ok. I have a dog door so first time they got shocked they thought they just couldn't go out. It took a couple weeks to get them past that. But it really is awesome they will not run through it. I have a boxer and a lab/rot mix. The ground staples also work but you do need a lot of them and you wanna stretch it out and push it down as far as possible. Sometimes the boxer can get out of the collar but she still will not leave the yard. But on short haired dogs keep an eye on it. If you break the line or it's set up wrong the alarms work great. I recommend getting additional line at radio shack instead of from this place it's too expensive. Also get some waterproof twist nuts for the wire as back up for yourself. (very cheap at [...])
