Product Description

Safety, portability and completely wireless. The Insant Fence will keep your pet in your yard with no stakes, flags or wire to bury!

The Petsafe Wireless Fence is the safest, simplest form of pet containment ever. This wireless fence sets up in a matter of minutes and is completely portable, so it's great for travel or when you move into a new home.

It uses a constant radio signal to create a "safe zone". Your dog's collar picks up the signal and if he ventures out of the "safe zone", he will hear a warning tone, followed by a light, static correction that s completely safe and humane. The collar has five levels of adjustable stimulation so you can customize it to meet your dog's unique training needs. Only PetSafe offers this flexibility in a Wireless Dog Fence!

Within a few days, your pet learns his boundaries and will stay safe at home. Setting up the boundaries of your yard takes only a few minutes. You can adjust the boundaries from just a few feet to up to 180 feet in diameter (approx 1/2 acre). If you have a larger yard, you can use addtional transmitters to increase your containment area.

Increase Your Wireless Dog Fence Coverage with Additional Transmitters

The range of The PetSafe Wireless Dog Fence can be increased by using two or more transmitters.  This creates intersecting circles and the signal is cancelled where the circles intersect. This allows your pet access to the entire area. One additional transmitter would create a boundary that is up to 180 feet wide and up to 330 feet long.

How It Works:

The PetSafe Wireless Fence provides the safest, simplest form of pet containment ever. Plug in the transmitter some where inconspicuously in your home. The transmitter emits radio signal around your home. Your pet wears a lightweight receiver collar which "listens" for the signal. While the collar is receiving the signal, your dog is free to run and play in your yard. When he approaches the boundary of the signal area, he receives a warning beep. If your dog does not return, he receives a static correction which is startling but not harmful. With a little simple training, your dog will quickly learn his boundaries.

Setting up your PetSafe Wireless Fence takes just a few minutes. The transmitter plugs into any standard 110 volt outlet. Since the signal will transmit reliably through walls and other obstructions, it can be placed in any convenient and discreet location, typically in the garage or a closet. Once you have set up The PetSafe Wireless Fence, you can now adjust the range that is appropriate for your dog and your yard.

The biggest selling point for me on this dog fence was that you don't have to bury it or anything. We were able to bring this with us when we moved, no problem! It keeps my dog in our front yard with no problems at all, this has been a lifesaver.

  4. This is a no brainer. 5 Star Review

This pet safe wireless fence works perfect. No having to run a wire underground. Another advantage is it will correct your dog for 30 seconds if it gets outside of the signal unlike the wired fences that only correct at the wire as your dog runs across it. Radiofence.com has the best price anywhere. No reason to try anything else, you need to buy this.

We purchased this for our full grown boxer that kept running off. All I can say is money well spent. Even when the collar is not on She wont leave the yard. It taught her boundaries well.

Money well spent! Love the fence, does what you said it would do. I have two small dogs one is a Yorkie and he would not stay in the yard before I got the fence but he does now. It is so nice to let them oout and not have to worry about them running off. Training was very easy and did not take long.

    Great Product!

  8. Definitely makes life easier 4 Star Review

Our private community does not allow fenced in yards so we purchased the wireless fence and could have never hoped it was going to work as well as it has on our smaller dog. We also have a Lab / Retriever and his collar is on the way. We can only hope we have the same results as we do with our little Dog.
    Great product.

  9. Altogether a very good product 4 Star Review

Having previously installed two sets of underground dog fence wiring in a large yard over five years -- each of which were inadvertantly impaired by aeration and construction equipment --was keen to find a sustainable solution going forward.

For the above reasons, was drawn to the wireless application -- but was doubtful. The wireless setup could not have been easier, and now nearly 6 months, am quite satisfied with the product and the ability to adjust the range or size of yard coverage.

  10. Love it! 4 Star Review

Boo is 4 months old now, and we both love not having to go through the early "poop" ritual with the leash every morning. She looks forward to getting her collar snapped on, and hits the yard like a schoolchild at recess. She didn't require the long drawn out training period, but picked it up almost immediately, and has command of the yard, halting well within the safe zone. I have no sign of a path like the deep ruts around the perimeter my next door neighbor has with his invisible fence. I would love to see other selectable training features [e.g. anti-bark, behavior penalty...] integrated into the brain/stimulator on the single collar rather than having to layer multiple collars...
