Product Description

Safety, portability and completely wireless. The Insant Fence will keep your pet in your yard with no stakes, flags or wire to bury!

The Petsafe Wireless Fence is the safest, simplest form of pet containment ever. This wireless fence sets up in a matter of minutes and is completely portable, so it's great for travel or when you move into a new home.

It uses a constant radio signal to create a "safe zone". Your dog's collar picks up the signal and if he ventures out of the "safe zone", he will hear a warning tone, followed by a light, static correction that s completely safe and humane. The collar has five levels of adjustable stimulation so you can customize it to meet your dog's unique training needs. Only PetSafe offers this flexibility in a Wireless Dog Fence!

Within a few days, your pet learns his boundaries and will stay safe at home. Setting up the boundaries of your yard takes only a few minutes. You can adjust the boundaries from just a few feet to up to 180 feet in diameter (approx 1/2 acre). If you have a larger yard, you can use addtional transmitters to increase your containment area.

Features:

Increase Your Wireless Dog Fence Coverage with Additional Transmitters

The range of The PetSafe Wireless Dog Fence can be increased by using two or more transmitters.  This creates intersecting circles and the signal is cancelled where the circles intersect. This allows your pet access to the entire area. One additional transmitter would create a boundary that is up to 180 feet wide and up to 330 feet long.

How It Works:

The PetSafe Wireless Fence provides the safest, simplest form of pet containment ever. Plug in the transmitter some where inconspicuously in your home. The transmitter emits radio signal around your home. Your pet wears a lightweight receiver collar which "listens" for the signal. While the collar is receiving the signal, your dog is free to run and play in your yard. When he approaches the boundary of the signal area, he receives a warning beep. If your dog does not return, he receives a static correction which is startling but not harmful. With a little simple training, your dog will quickly learn his boundaries.

Setting up your PetSafe Wireless Fence takes just a few minutes. The transmitter plugs into any standard 110 volt outlet. Since the signal will transmit reliably through walls and other obstructions, it can be placed in any convenient and discreet location, typically in the garage or a closet. Once you have set up The PetSafe Wireless Fence, you can now adjust the range that is appropriate for your dog and your yard.

  1. Saved my two dogs lives

Posted by Rj on Feb 3rd 2012

this system changed my dogs instantly, and made them much easier to control

  2. Cadence and Anna stay at home!

Posted by Cadi & Anna on Jan 23rd 2012

We just moved out to a 2 acre piece of land and did not want to have to fence it, however our 8 yr old Shephard and 5 yr old Lab were both city dogs and used to fences telling them where to be. After doing some research I found this fence and it has been great! Cadence (the shep) caught on right away and needed minimal training. Anna (the lab) needed a little more training and a higher correction level, however they both now know to head back in toward the house when they hear the beep. It's great to not have a fence around the property and even better being secure that the dogs can roam and not have to worry about them. We purchased two in order to have a larger area for them to explore. THe only drawback is the shape of the perimeter, would be easier if it could do straight lines too, but can't have it all! Overall, we are satisfied.

  3. Lived up to more than we expected

Posted by Tom on Jan 23rd 2012

It saved so much time and money by installing the wireless system. It took less than an hour to install (install main transmitter/receiver and place flags). Piece of cake!!!!!!

  4. use it anywhere

Posted by Julie on Jan 23rd 2012

we have a spot on the lake so I hate to see the dogs tied up but we have lots of neighbors. we dont have to worry abpout the dogs running away or the kids letting them out by accident. They are happy and less aggresive when they are not tied up. We have a border collie mix, cairin terrier and a english bulldog.

  5. Batteries are the only drawback

Posted by XanderTank on Jan 23rd 2012

The batteries are the only drawback to this system as well as power outages. DO NOT use cheap batteries in the collar - my boy's batteries dies unexpectedly and the FIRST time he's ever gone to the road he was struck. He's now a tripawd and doing fantastic. I would however DEFINITELY recommend this product to friends. It's fantastic and both my mother and I use it for our pets - just be SO careful about the batteries!!

  6. "A Must Have"

Posted by Love It!! on Jan 5th 2012

A definate must have. We purchased this fence for a new boxer puppy we added to our family. It was so easy to set up, training was so easy and the dog adjusted really quickly. Know he knows his territory and loves to play and run outside.

  7. Works Great!

Posted by Jule on Jan 5th 2012

This product has been very good! With the adjustable field it makes it very easy to take anywhere. We have been very pleased with our system. The batteries are inexpensive and last for about 5 - 6 months for us.

  8. works great

Posted by Joe on Dec 31st 2011

Have used this system on my boxer for about 3 years now. I have two transmitter boxes, and when we go camping it is great to grab one and set a perimeter around our campsite in seconds. On the site now to order a collar for our new dog.

  9. It really saved the day for us

Posted by Cast Iron Mike on Dec 22nd 2011

Our springer spainels were going off our property (we live in the country ) and one became ill from parvo from eating our trapper neighgour's tossed beaver foot and nearly died with a $1,200.oo vet bill so we purchased the wireless system and within hours our three dogs stay in our yard with no problems what so ever. Thanks Radio Fence ,the Martins

  10. Works Well, When Working!

Posted by Mom of 2, under 3 on Dec 22nd 2011

We've owned this system now since August 2011 and have had a few problems. Within the first month of owning the product our collar was "eating" through batteries every two weeks. Now recently the system was engaging while the dog was inside the house. Both instances I called PetSafe and both times the company has replaced parts for us free of charge and without a hassle. Im waiting for a new transmitter and collar to arrive tomorrow... Other than that, and we hope we dont have any more problems the system has been a "good" investment. It has tought the dog her boundaries and while she has figured out when its not working she can get out without a tone correction or static shock, overall I would say its been helpful to me keeping our 1.5 yr old, 70 pound overly friendly and adventurous Golden Retriever to her yard, while Ive been attending to our 2 yr old son and expecting our second child any day now.
