Very nice trainer

I just started using this to try to correct a couple of negative behaviors from my 1.5 yr old corgi. He had a habit of barking and chasing our cats and didn't respond to my verbal or other commands ( tug on choke collar, spry with water ) to curb this. I did have to give him a little shock set on number 4 to get his attention , but it was one time and now all he needs is a reminder with the tone to make him stop.

"We have used this collar for our dogs and to retrain rescue dogs with problem behaviors. Our dogs are contained by a radio fence, so they are familiar with the beep-shock association. Due to this, we very rarely require the shock correction. The proper use of this device has helped us to retrain and subsequently rehome dogs who previously exhibited many problem behaviors, such as dog-dog aggression and unbridled prey drive. Breaking the bad behavior cycle then allows us to harness that animal's drives into more positive activies.

My dog is a beagle. The beagle really like to eat their own Excrement. It was very hard to stop the dog doing it when I was out of reach. I hidden and used the collar on a regularly basis. I corrected the bad behaviour in less than 2 weeks. I recommend this collar for anyone who needs immediate assistance in order to educate their dog with bad behaviours.

I have a Miniature Pincher that is almost a year old now. I love this dog but he is one hard headed little cuss. Trying to get his attention when he is focused elsewhere can be a real trial. I finally got him to listen with the slightest setting. Once did it. Now if I talk, he pays attention. When worse comes to worse with the nusiance barking I can get him to turn it off by merely turning on the collar laying on the counter and hitting the beeper. It shuts him down right away. I wish the batteries lasted a bit longer but that is my only complaint.
