It worked great. In one week our Maltese stopped his constant barking. Now my husband wants to get one for me!

Too sensitive even on low setting

This collar is too sentive even on a lowest setting. It goes off when dog barks as well as when dog runs/plays. This confuses dog and did not help with controlling the behavior.

I tried one of these collars for my two barking beagles, as an alternative to the progressive shock collars. It works like a charm, they do not like the sound and immediately stop barking when the sound is activated. I was able to adjust the sensitivity to the middle setting which was perfect. I highly recommend this collar, and so do my neighbors!

"We purchased these to use on our Dachshunds when we traveled to a convention. Did not want them barking at every little sound. Put the collars on the dogs and did not hear anything above a low rumble after the first barking-they caught on fast. Now when we expect company or have people doing yard work we put them on, and the doggies understand that they are not to go wild barking.
They are real happy when we take the collars off, but they have come to realize at the first bark what they are there for. Great investment and I would highly recommend. Our doggies learned fast and they are pretty spoiled, stubborn little ladies, so it should work just as well on most any dog you use it on. (Just make sure you are consistent!)"
