The Simplest, Cleanest, Lowest-Cost Solution for Housetraining Your Dog! The WizDog Indoor Dog Potty is a new revolutionary housetraining system for dogs. Consisting of a durable plastic pan and fitted grate.
Liquid waste is channeled through the grate to the bottom of the tray, preventing paws from coming in contact with the urine. Solid waste is disposed of by simply lifting and flipping the grate. The grate is only 3/8" deep and is easy to clean.
Wizdog consists of an industrial grade polyethylene plastic tray and a fitted honeycomb grate. The Wizdog Indoor Dog Potty measures 21" X 28" with an elimination space of 15.5" X 23.5" and was specifically designed to fit most daily newspapers (you can also use the store bought pee pads). The paper remains under the grate, preventing your dog or puppy from shredding it.
Unlike dog litter systems, Wizdog is a simple and inexpensive product that does not require the purchase of litter refill or pee pads. Wizdog can be used as is, or can fit either newspaper or training pads to absorb the urine. The Wizdog tray has a smooth glossy finish for easy cleanup. Each Wizdog weighs approximately 3 lbs. Each grid cell measures approx 5/8" square and 1/2" deep.

Very useful around our house, especially when the weather is cold. I walk my dog daily and he goes on the road and still uses the Wiz Dog as well.

I just purchased the Wiz Dog. I am so impressed. It is wonderful for potty training. I also purchased the Housebreaking Aid (41505) and put a few drops on the newspapers under the grate of the Wiz Dog. We have had the puppy one week and take him to the potty often and it is wonderful. We have a new home so I really wanted the potty training to go well. IMPRESSED. I am purchasing another one today for downstairs. ALSO....BONUS..the price at Radio Fence is he cheepest I found when I added other stores big shipping charges. True DEAL! It was the best price I could find and I really looked for the best price. :0)

The WizDog works out fairly well with my miniDachshunds. I use pee pads to line the tray and the grate goes on top. This works amazingly well for urine. For poopies, most of the time, the grate is easy to clean, but there are times when the consistency creates a mess. I wish that the grate had a non-stick surface (-: The WizDog is much better than pee pads with holders!

The product works well, but I had to "improvise" the grate portion of the Wizdog for my Chihuahua. The grate size although small was still too big for my puppy's paws. I used ordinary replacement screen from the hardware store and cut a piece a little larger than the grate and then put the screen over the grate and tucked the edges under. He immediately took to the Wizdog after knowing his little feet wouldn't fall between the spaces. He is now 8 mths. old and uses it all the time! No more midnight walks with a dog in the rain or snow!

My pet uses this to pee, and That is good, but will not use it for other waste.
