Product and Company are Teriffic!
We've used the radio fence to keep our cats inside our screened patio and it has worked well. It's a very difficult task to contain cats so I believe our success is pretty remarkable. Also, when I have had a issue, I have always found the company to be extremely helpful.

IT WORKS
I put the fence in for our 3 cats. Our neighbor is a trapper of cats, after loosing two, we tried the fence. IT WORKS .... Admit I was skeptical and desperate. I could not be more confident. The training was speedy. Out of our 3 cats one proved to be a bit more difficult to train, which was only a matter of adjusting the level. Would highly recommend for cat owners.

Nylon collar does not last
We thought this collar was a god send when we first started using it. She was peeing in the livingroom and it worked keeping her out. However, we have been through two $80 collars in 3 years. She only has back claws but manages to rip the collars to shreds and you have to replace the whole thing, not just the nylon. Super frustrating!!!

Cat Fence
I searched the internet and asked website users if anyone had ever trained a cat. I was only able to find one response, which was positive. I was hesitant, but decided to try it. Not only does it work with cats, but they trained in just a few days. Using the staples to put it on the ground was incredibly easy. I would be happy to talk to any cat owners who would like a reference. I also think the collar would work for very small dogs.

don't tell my dogs
my two yorkies are 4 and 6 pounds, and runners-if the door openened they could squeeze in through and around feet to get out. They run like rabbits and will not come until they are ready. We were afraid they would get hit, lost or even eaten by hawlks or othere animals in our area. The dog fences are too strong for them-cat collars solved our problem perfectly..we insatalled a pet door and they can go in and out as they like.It only took one shock (we did have the flags up at first)they never went outside the boundries again. What a piece of mind! we have the system at home -the cottage and our home in Florida

only 12 hours
While I think the batteries don't last long enough (WHY do you have to see a green light? Just put on the red light when the batteries are going out.), The objections to the 12 hour limit are not correct. If you keep the prongs at their first size, yes. They would cause ulcers. Simply use a dremel and cut them in half. The collar should be tight enough to allow a SMALL space between. Trust me, when the cat approaches the wire, the buzz will hit her. You'll need about one week per month for about 3 months. After that, it'll be about a year before you need re-inforcement.

still a little big
"We actully use this collar on our dogs because even the smallest dog collar was to big for them! It really could be a little smaller. But this one will work!"

This is the fastest cat training collar!
"My cat is 4 years old and she finally noticed the doggy door and decided to use it!. Purchased the Radiofence indoor unit and my cat learned within 2 days. I only set it on the #2 setting and whenever I heard the beeping I would yell ""Run Kitty Run"" and she did!! Recommend highly. Thank You"

Love it
We have a very small dog and needed something that wasn't too heavy. Now the 2 labs and mini doxi can all run togeter outside with no worries.

Works
"We ordered this additional collar for the other cat now that it was trying to get outside. they must make escape plans together i swear. i recommend the collar, test it yourself before putting on your animal, the lowest shock setting is more than touching a door knob but you'll live. only thing is the batteries only last like a month or so! and then the dang things are $8!! you can find JUST the battery and then pop the top off the black thing(it's only glued) and drop the new battery in. they're much cheaper than buying the whole piece, $3-4?"

Radio fence works for cats too!
It is easier to train a cat to this collar/radio fence that I could ever believe. It's very comfortable to wear daily, so that we don't have to worry about the at escaping when a door is open. [...] I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Don't give up! The only difficult part in training is trusting success..at first.

Solved Problem of Cats Using Dog Door
I no longer fear my house cats using the dog door. Having your cats chipped doesn't help if they are eaten by a fox or owl. My cats adjusted to the collar without a problem but they are average size cats. The lowest setting was all that was needed to stop the problem. However, I do think the collar would be too large and heavy for kittens or very small cats.

Works very well, highly recommend!
The cat learns quickly where the limits are established. Initial beep signals cat, if he/she persists then they receive a shock.

This is a great product for cats or dogs
My petsafe invisible fence works great for keeping our cat in the yard except she knows when the collar is not on her neck over the fence she goes. We also use the same collars for our Boston Terriers to keep them away from the fence and barking at the neighbor dogs. Have considered ordering one for the neighbor dog to keep him away as well!!! Extremely easy to install, best advice is not to over think it. If you have an existing fence attach it to the fence but follow instructions. Bury wire where needed at gates and such it is a snap!

Radio Cat Fence is Great!
We bought the in-ground cat fence for our two cats to keep them within a fenced-in yard. They both "learned" about the fence quickly and have not escaped in over five months. No longer have to worry about our cats being injured while roaming around the neighborhood. Great product!
