I have 2 new kittens who have proven to be very clever. They each have their own Petsafe 5 meal feeder. They try to get into it...even from the front latch but have been deterred. Great for weekend get-aways. Highly recommended!!!! Very quiet as well.

This is sturdy, well made item. Fairly large, but has to be to hold 5 meals. Easy to set times (after reading brief instructions) and is reliable for feeding on schedule. Takes 4 D batteries and have only had it for 2 weeks so not sure how long they last. Overall, very pleased with this product.

We camp in the summer and I always hirer a neighbor too feed my two cats. Well this feeder worked out well for a weekend. At first my one cat would jump when it moved but soon realized there was food and was waiting for it. I bought two because I have two cats.

I have an extremely food motivated cat who has managed to outsmart a 2-meal automatic feeder, already. I purchased the five meal automatic feeder hoping to stump him, and it has! It has been over 3 months since my purchase and we are still going strong. While the feeder is rather large, it has been worth every penny and slight inconvenience the size has caused. Also, the batteries from the initial install are still going strong with 2 timed feedings per day (which means the feeder holds 2 days worth of food for my cat). It has helped us trim our cat by 2 pounds and disconnects that fact that I am the one feeding him (He does not bug me for food, but will watch the feeder often in hopes it will spin open). I'm so thankful to have found a solution to our problem!

This 5 meal automatic feeder is working so well for our cat that we purchased a second one !! Very well made product, durable, dependable too. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering purchasing an automatic feeder.

I absolutely love my new 5 station feeder bowl! I used to have to ask 'mom' and 'dad' for food ALL the time, and they almost never gave me any! Now, I just listen for the sound and voila!! Food!! I am a much happier kitty now that I have some control back over when I eat and how much because I know there will always be more food coming soon. Yay!

We have used this twice to get away for a few days and it has been great to have a way to feed the cat without asking the neighbors. The videos of the cats breaking in must be trained cats because our cat would never figure it out and it is not even easy for a human to open it to get the food. So far it has been very reliable.

Purchased this feeder to stop my cat from waking me up at 5:00 AM. It is easy to program, functions on a daily basis flawlessly. The feeding tray is machine washable and very durable. My cat weighs 14 lbs. and is very smart about breaking into things for food. She cannot swivel the tray manually to gain access to more food, although she has tried repeatedly, and to me, this is the ultimate test.

I feed my 3 cats wet cat food three times a day, They each have a feeder. it's a little tricky figuring out the timer at first. Am very happy with the feeders! The cats don't wake me up at 6 am anymore, they hear the rotation of the feeder and run to the food. they've tried to open the feeder, but have been unsuccessful. my life has been easier, knowing they're fed when I'm at work. one suggestion - get new batteries if you use feeder over a few days.

This has helped regulate the demands of an overweight cat that followed me around incessantly asking to be fed.
