Does your dog bark too much? Maybe your neighbor's dog barks too much? Now there is a solution to excessive barking - even if it's coming from someone else's dog!
This decorative electronic birdhouse is really an Ultrasonic Bark Control Device to control nuisance barking! Designed to look like a birdhouse, the PetSafe Ultrasonic Bark Control System can hang in a tree, on a fence post, or anywhere outside.
When the Ultrasonic Bark Control Birdhouse detects excessive barking the microphone picks up the barking and activates the unit. This results in a safe ultrasonic sound that is audible to dogs, but not to humans. The offending dog hears the sound and will stop barking. Safe and effective for all breeds and sizes of dogs.

"A neighbor complained that our diligent ""security"" dog (a wonderful English cocker spaniel) was barking a lot during the day when we are at work. It's probably true .... so we tried the Ultrasonic Bark Control and after a couple of barks, Millie trots away and we're hoping this behavior continues. I didn't want to use the collars and am very happy with the results.
I just hope the unit withstands the weather; that's my only concern right now!
We received our order very quickly from Radio Fence so I'd say we are very happy customers."

I work nights, sleep during the day, and my neighbors have large loud dogs that bark at the wind. This device has gotten me several days of blissful sleep. The only complaint I have is that I have to change the battery every couple of weeks... did I mention they bark at the wind?

This product is amazing! We have two large dogs, with a fenced in yard, and a dog door. We found out that when we leave for work, one of them would be barking for hours in our backyard. We've tried Citronella collars and other bark control products, but nothing worked. In fact, I just sent this link and a print screen of this product to neighbors of ours, who asked how we got our dogs to stop barking, because they want to get something for their dogs too. Excellent product! I highly recommend it. It's great also because it's waterproof and you can set the distance of range.

I rarely write reviews of products, but on this one I must. My neighbors have 2 pitbulls in their backyard. Since moving into my house a year ago, I have tolerated their non-stop fits of barking for a year now. Nearing my breaking point, I spoke to a vet who recommended this item. I bought two, placing one at either end of my fence pointing into my neighbor's backyard. Instantly, I saw results. The results have only gotten better with time. I was amazed that within an hour or so, my backyard was quiet and peaceful. The device has been in place for a week now and the change is unbelievable!! The dogs still bark occassionally, but nothing like they used to. This device has restored my sanity and allows me to enjoy my backyard again. I can't say enough good things about this item. It absolutely does what it says it will do, plus Radio Fence offers the best price on the internet, and a 30-day money back guarantee so you have nothing to lose.

I have two talkative Newfoundlands that simply must bark at any unusual sound or movement outside. There have been complaints from (non dog-owning)neighbors. We have tried a radio-controlled "correction" collar and a citronella-spraying collar, neither of which worked. Given all the neck fur, which we are unwilling to shave, the correction intensity was insufficient to stop the barking. Within 15 minutes of placing this unobtrusive device on a branch in a backyard tree, there has been blessed silence...except, of course, during thunderstorms, but barking at thunder is acceptable. I have had it for 6 months, now, and it has survived wind and rain. I bought a second one for my front porch. This device actually works. We are pleased, and our neighbors are thrilled.

"When i purchased 2 of these 5 months ago i was at my wit's end with the non-stop barking of my neighbor's dogs (large pit bull and smaller pit mix). A vet recommended this device to me as a possible solution.
Initially the devices were wonderfully effective for several months -- i could easily tell when the batteries were low based on an increase in barking. Now they don't seem quite as effective. Either the dogs have developed a tolerance for the sound the device emits or they are just particularly obstinate.
Although the device seems less effective now, I would still recommend that others try it because from my research, it seems that each situation and each dog can be somewhat different plus the site offers a 30 day money-back guarantee!"

I have two dachshunds who will bark until hoarse. My neighbor has been very kind and patient. I got the ultrasonic birdhouse, didn't tell her, and when I asked after a week, so thought we had been on vacation and didn't know the dogs were even at the house! So we've gone from 5.5 hours of solid barking, to "gee, I didn't know they were at home." I didn't want a shock collar, and this works brilliantly. Light, decent looking, and completely worth the money!

When my dog was within a few feet of the bark house, it helps. Once he got a few feet away, it did nothing. I would need to line the fence with these. I was sure hoping it would have helped, no such luck.
