Add Additional Pets to Your PetSafe Pawz Away Pet Barriers. The PetSafe Pawz Away Extra Receiver Collar works with the PetSafe Pawz Away Outdoor Pet Barrier or the PetSafe Pawz Away Indoor Pet Barrier.
This dog collar is lightweight, waterproof and uses a progressive correction to train your pet. If your pet approaches an "off limits" area, will receive a mild stimulation. This stimulation will increase until your pet backs away from the area. If your dog returns to the forbidden area, the collar will correct him again, beginning at the lowest level. Your pet will soon associate this feeling with the prohibited area and stay away.

The batteries were dead when arrived. I had to replace before I could use it. The collar is very large and had to cut quite a bit to fit a large cat - now fraying. And the collar has to be very tight to work on the cat. Wish was the beeping/warning was louder coming from the collar.

Very versatile with many options for the doggy correction mode. Vibrate, beeping I believe and the zapper mode for really unruly dogs, like mine (wife's dogs. a gift to me when got married). Anyway, I use the zapper mode most when they are barking at somethig for no particular reason. Shuts them up immediaty. Also, setup is a snap. Remote control suports 2 collars. GOOD STUFF !!!!!!!

The collar keeps my dog away from the dining room table when we're eating. My mother (with Alzheimer) wants to feed the dog with her utensils. This collar keeps the dog away from the table and also away from couch and chair when she is trying to rest. I give it five stars.

I am ordering maybe my 10th collar. I have to German Pointers, sisters, and they keep escaping. This product works really well at stopping that, except when they are playing, they often bite on each others collar. They break mostly the plastic buckle connection, sometimes the transmitter, so it breaks off. I wish this was offered in an old fashioned belt buckle style closure, I think it would work better for me.

It does work really well keeping and training my small 2 dogs from rugs and areas where they destroy things with poop, but collar transmitters only lasted 4 months, as device opened in half and even though I taped it, didn't work again. They are now back to their old habits, so I re-ordered another 2 collars, and this time, I'm gonna tape the device shut, so that this problem doesn't happen again.

Works great but the two 2032 batteries rapidly deplete and there is no warning of low battery except when your pet strays where they should not--I have another collar product similar but uses a small more conventional battery that lasts MONTHS while it seems this device uses up the juice in a week or two and while there is a switch to turn it off to save juice, one does not always remeber but the other collars I mentioned dot need to be turned of with similar technology

I needed to re-purchase this product after 4 months since the cover on the battery compartment broke and would not screw back on.

I have an 80 lb black lab....she will sit and take the shock without even flinching most of the time. Sometimes it will catch her just right and spook her, but usually it's about as effective and a bug bite. For my little 25 lb cockapoo it is perfect!

We got the transmitter and one collar at first, and then needed another for our other cat. When it came everything seemed to be in order, but then we soon found out that a small part of the screw on back for the battery compartment was missing some plastic (looks like a small sliver broke off). Unfortunately, this was the part of the plastic that anchored that side in, and the battery was looser because of it. This meant the collar would only work when we were pushing the part in with our finger. We would have sent it back for another, but thankfully my father worked on it and managed to get it on tight enough. Its a good product, taught the cats where not to go within a day or two, but be prepared to send it back if it has some issues like ours did.
