Product Description

The Complete Spray Remote Control Training System. The PetSafe Spray Commander is a safe, effective and state of the art dog training collar.

It is comfortable on your dog and effective for any size pet. It does not have any secondary side effects such as pain or fear. The Spray Commander uses a harmless citronella spray to correct your dog's behavior. The hand held remote controls a spray collar worn by your dog. To use this collar, simply interrupt (spray) your dog while he is in the process of misbehaving. After receiving a few sprays your dog will avoid bad behavior in order to spare himself another spray.

This training collar can strengthen your relationship with your dog because the correction is associated with the action and not you.

  1. Awesome! 5 Star Review

We used this on our golden doodle pup to stop it from biting us and to stay calm when someone was at the door. Been a week now and it works like a charm. Our pup understands that he needs to stay calm when we press 1 since he knows that continuing the bad behaviour will get him the spray treatment. Definitely recommend this product.

  2. I use the Spray Commander 4 Star Review

I like the Spray Commander. It is harmless and my dog reacts much quicker with the collar on. The only drawback is that he knows when he doesn't have it on, and regresses back to his normal behavior. That could just be my dog.

  3. great until it breaks 2 Star Review

Posted by on Sep 14th 2015

Bought this in late July to help train my dog. WHEN it worked, it was a godsend. Within a month of having it, it started spraying citronella constantly, even when off and batteries removed. I returned it to manufacturer and received a new one. Within a month, this one started doing the same thing and the flimsy clasp broke. Now going to return for 2nd time in 2 months. Would be a great product but very poor quality. So disappointing

  4. Citronella Spray Collar 5 Star Review

I rescued a puppy that was advertised as a " lab mix ", but it turns out he was an Aussie Cattle Shepard, one of the MOST hyper dogs on earth. He dug holes all over my backyard, attacked my cats, and bit everything and everyone in the heels as they walked. He jumped on counters, chairs, tables, just insane. I took him to puppy school and we failed. Yup, failed with an F, because he wouldn't listen, wouldn't stop barking, couldn't sit still, attached the other dogs! He's all of 30 pounds tops. I was at my wits end when I saw this online and purchased it. I would never consider a shock collar no matter how badly behaved my dog was, and this is a life saver. It is AMAZING! The first day I used it, I would push # 1 which gives a sound, and then push # 2 which gave him a short squirt of citronella. After only a few hours, he got to the point where all I had to do was hit the # 1 button with the sound, and he would stop his bad behavior. The cats are still a hot point with him, but once he gets squirted with the citronella he backs right off. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a humane way to train an un-trainable doggie. I wished I had purchased this before I spent $ 200.00 to fail puppy school.

  5. Citronella Spray Collar 5 Star Review

I wasn't convinced that this would work, but it does!
For over three years now, my dog has lunged at vehicles and barked at people and other dogs while on our walks. One spritz of citronella from the collar immediately stops her negative behavior. I expect to see lasting results in the future, as I've only been using the collar less than a week. I only wish I had purchased one sooner.

    Works really well

  7. Spray Collar 4 Star Review

Works well for bark control when the collar is on her neck. I have never had to spray my 15 lb. Cocka/Shi/Poo, sound is enough, when the collar is on, but she knows when it is off.

  8. spray training collar 5 Star Review

Let my dog wear it for two weeks before actually using it so she would not be afraid of the collar when i put it on her. I have only sprayed it once as it has seemed to curb her chasing people and other dogs for now but am continuing to have her wear it just in case. 4weeks since 1st spray and still no issues.

  9. seems to work pretty well 4 Star Review

Posted by on Jun 1st 2015

Unit is definitely effective on our 14 lb minature Schnauzer but not sure she's learning to stop barking period, or just when we put the collar on her. Time will tell as we've only had about 2 weeks.

  10. Security 5 Star Review

Posted by on Jun 1st 2015

This training system brought security to my family. Now my children feels safe and secure. They feel empowered and in controlled. They no longer are afraid of the dog jumpiing on them or other people. The dog doesn't run out the street any more, and we only used the spray a few times. Now all we have to do is beep the remote when necessary. We don't have to spray her any more. Oh, we have it for a month or less, and we haven't used it every week. If we find the time to train her every week, we probably wouldn't need it any more. Our golden retreiver is 9 months old and her energy is controlled. we play soccer and baseball with her in the front yard, and it is not fenced. She tried to run after some people once, and we had to spray her. Now she never does it again. We also send her out to go potty and come back. we just call her and she comes running in the house.
