The Complete Spray Remote Control Training System. The PetSafe Spray Commander is a safe, effective and state of the art dog training collar.
It is comfortable on your dog and effective for any size pet. It does not have any secondary side effects such as pain or fear. The Spray Commander uses a harmless citronella spray to correct your dog's behavior. The hand held remote controls a spray collar worn by your dog. To use this collar, simply interrupt (spray) your dog while he is in the process of misbehaving. After receiving a few sprays your dog will avoid bad behavior in order to spare himself another spray.
This training collar can strengthen your relationship with your dog because the correction is associated with the action and not you.
Due to FAA Regulations this item ships only via UPS Ground shipping.

Only used the #1 on the clicker ONCE. Now, all I have to do is pick up the clicker and he stops his bad behavior.
Thank you for such a great product.

My wife bought this for our puppy who has a desire to run from us and eat poop in the yard. He likes cat, goose, and duck, but his favorite is deer poop. When she told me that the collar sprayed citronella, I was skeptical at best. I mean, we're talking about a puppy who is a poop connoisseur. If the smell and taste of that doesn't keep him away how great will citronella work? I was pleasantly surprised. The first time he picked up a kitty morsel I hit the light spray button and he immediately dropped it and came running to me. After a few times of using the collar and the light spray button, he no longer goes after the yard treats. I sometimes get in a hurry and don't put the collar on and he is still good. It really is an effective product.

I have four rescued Beagles Three of them are well behaved, One of them is an evil genius who has figured out how to open the oven, among his many talents. He can jump and lunge to steal off of counters, tables, you name it. He is a sweet loving kleptomaniac. I spent hundreds on a dog trainer who showed he could do all kinds of tricks and commands, but was still a thief This collar was my last resort before the dreaded shock collar. I am thrilled that this collar has remarkably changed his behavior The remote works even when I am downstairs and he is upstairs. II keep the collar on when I am home and take it off before bedtime. I love it. I wish I had gotten it soon.

Stops my 45lb. Coonhound puppy from jumping on and biting my elderly father. I also used it couple times to stop my dog from getting into flower beds and pulling out the plants. It worked every time. After about 6 correction my dog remembered not to go there. I was seriously thinking to give up the dog but this product made me change my mind. This was a good investment. Highly recommend it.

Works right out of the box.
And Go !
Dot forget to switch it off after each use. I remove the plug on the transmitter's battery compartment in order to ensure that it is powered off.

The PetSafe Spray Commander Remote Trainer is disappointing because the spray coming out of the device is aimed up into the pet's throat and fur rather than out front of the pet's snout. It's aim needs to be re-engineered for a better exit. It also has a very small "well" or quantity that it carries before one has to re-load it.

Needed to stop my dog from barking/pulling when we met other dogs on leashes. Three sprays of citronella took care of the problem. He just needed to realize it was an unacceptable behavior. Love the fact that this does not hurt him or frighten him - just gets his attention. I also carried a treat to reinforce the good behavior. Plan to try it to make him cautious of cars - going to give it a little time first. Love this product.

I was using a shock collar to stop jumping up and digging behaviors that I was unable to stop using positive reinforcement methods that worked well for basic training. But the "shocking" really bothered me. So when I read about the spray collar I decided to try it. And it is working very well so far.

Our dog was barking incessantly from his vantage point on our lot. We live on a canyon so the neighbors could hear every bark.
This product is not intended for a barking problem but it works perfectly for our dog who is a 60 lb Goldendoodle. He gets one warning beep and then a spray. We've only had to use the spray about four times. The beep gets used more frequently but not that often.
This has worked really well for us and is a big deterrent for our dog's previous bad behavior. It also stopped some of the arguing in our house about who was going to go stop the dog from barking.
