Setting up the Stay + Play wireless fence is quick and easy. Simply place the transmitter anywhere in your home or garage area and the signal will easily transmit through walls, doors, and furniture.
We've upgraded the original Wireless Containment System. Our transmitter is 67% smaller, fitting easily in more places. Covers up to of 210 feet in diameter, with a minimum of 34 feet in diameter. The collar is now smaller and lighter, fits custom straps, and is rechargeable-- no more buying batteries! It all adds up to a yard filled with more happiness, more safety, and more peace of mind.
With the purchase of extra Stay and Play Wireless Dog Collars, you can include as many dogs as you wish with your Stay + Play Wireless Fence. The stream-lined design also makes it ideal for taking it with you when you are traveling with your pet.
Included in This Kit:
The wireless border created by the transmitter results in a circular boundary around your yard that can be easily adjusted up to 3/4 of an acre (210 feet across). After you have your wireless boundary set up, the next phase is to place the receiver collar around your dog's neck. As your dog roams freely within your yard, the collar will acquire the signal from the transmitter. Each time your dog nears the wireless perimeter, an alert tone is going to be emitted by the collar. If your dog continues in the direction of the off-limit boundaries, he will receive an instant but safe static correction.
It is simple to expand the containment area with the purchase of additional PetSafe Stay + Play Wireless Fence Transmitters by overlapping the boundaries. You can use another Wireless Transmitter with overlapping boundaries of at least 5-10 feet to increase the size of the Pet Area.

I have a 12 lb. Llaso apso, by the end of day 2 he was comfortable with the boundaries marked by the white flags. Set up is minimal, took me about 1.5 hrs to figure out the best placement for the receiver and to place the flags. No more having to worry about where the dog is!

I received free shipping on this. Range was advertized to be 210 feet diameter (which is 105 feet from the unit). Range was not even 90 feet. I sent the unit back and was refunded less than the amount I paid. When I asked, they said the fine print says if I ship it back I am charged for the (free) shipping. Disappointed that the unit did not work as advertized, Disappointed that I paid to ship the unit back and had to pay for the free shipping.

I bought this product mainly for price and not wanting to have the hassle of in ground wiring (5 acres and lots of moles) We have a 6 month old terrier mix, lots of energy about 18 lbs. The first setting was on 3 and it was too much for her, poor thing turned a back flip when she went past the flags! Turned it to beep only but she was pretty skittish the rest of the day so we didn't try too many more times. The next day we set it on 2 and that seems to be the perfect setting for her. When she went past the flags, and mind you she did not do that very often, you could tell something was going on and she turned back but it wasn't enough to hurt her. 1 week after training started we have taken the flags up. She has gone past the boundaries 2 times but not very far before turning back. Very pleased with this product!

My pet was tought the boundaries and he goes to that point then he stops. There are times I forget to put the collar on and he stops at the same point as though he had the collar on. It has kept him from going in the street chasing vehicles. That was the primary reason for the purchase.

The fence "line" is erratic and has made it more difficult to train the puppy

I just love this wireless fence!!! I am in peace knowing that my dogs stay put inside the set area. It was a little pricey, but worth every cent. Peace of mind, they learned in minutes not days I have 2 dogs, and one of them is a little more stubborn, but she also learned she can't pass the barrier. I would buy this again, wonderful!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!!!! and recommend to anyone to have their furry friends safe from traffic, or anything unsafe out there....

did the trick. slight problem with flags being set 1st day, then signal was stronger 2nd day, so I reset them only to move them back 3rd day with new signal strength. once I figured it out, they worked great. Best thing about it is the fact that dogs realize that even if they cross boundry, they are strongly motivated to return to the safe zone asap. Compare to typical buried wire where once they cross boundry, they have no interest in re-crossing boundry only to be shocked again. I'm surprised that radio-fence doesn't tout this benefit in their advertising.

This was purchased for my 1 1/2 year old black lab. Previously she had free reign of our 30 acre farm. However, after she killed two of the neighbors chickens, we needed a solution. We didn't want to chain her up all day and we couldn't fence in the area due to cost. So we purchased the radio fence. It took a couple weeks to train her to the point where she could be left all day. It works well for her, she definitely doesn't try to stray too far from the house. The only complaint is that it doesn't quite reach 105 ft radius, only about 80. But that is good enough for now.
