Safety, portability and completely wireless. The Insant Fence will keep your pet in your yard with no stakes, flags or wire to bury!

The Petsafe Wireless Fence is the safest, simplest form of pet containment ever. This wireless fence sets up in a matter of minutes and is completely portable, so it's great for travel or when you move into a new home.

It uses a constant radio signal to create a "safe zone". Your dog's collar picks up the signal and if he ventures out of the "safe zone", he will hear a warning tone, followed by a light, static correction that s completely safe and humane. The collar has five levels of adjustable stimulation so you can customize it to meet your dog's unique training needs. Only PetSafe offers this flexibility in a Wireless Dog Fence!

Within a few days, your pet learns his boundaries and will stay safe at home. Setting up the boundaries of your yard takes only a few minutes. You can adjust the boundaries from just a few feet to up to 180 feet in diameter (approx 1/2 acre). If you have a larger yard, you can use addtional transmitters to increase your containment area.

Features:

Increase Your Wireless Dog Fence Coverage with Additional Transmitters

The range of The PetSafe Wireless Dog Fence can be increased by using two or more transmitters.  This creates intersecting circles and the signal is cancelled where the circles intersect. This allows your pet access to the entire area. One additional transmitter would create a boundary that is up to 180 feet wide and up to 330 feet long.

How It Works:

The PetSafe Wireless Fence provides the safest, simplest form of pet containment ever. Plug in the transmitter some where inconspicuously in your home. The transmitter emits radio signal around your home. Your pet wears a lightweight receiver collar which "listens" for the signal. While the collar is receiving the signal, your dog is free to run and play in your yard. When he approaches the boundary of the signal area, he receives a warning beep. If your dog does not return, he receives a static correction which is startling but not harmful. With a little simple training, your dog will quickly learn his boundaries.

Setting up your PetSafe Wireless Fence takes just a few minutes. The transmitter plugs into any standard 110 volt outlet. Since the signal will transmit reliably through walls and other obstructions, it can be placed in any convenient and discreet location, typically in the garage or a closet. Once you have set up The PetSafe Wireless Fence, you can now adjust the range that is appropriate for your dog and your yard.

Works great!
It did everything it said it would do. Our husky is no longer digging on the edges of the fence and getting out:) We had to adjust the signal a bit because it was really strong in certain areas, but it does the job. I would have given a five, but I didn't care for the circular range. Great product!

The answer to all our problems
We have always had to tie our dog Roxie since she liked to run & especially guard the road in front of our house, no one was allowed to walk on it...this posed a huge problem so she had to be kept tied. My daughter had purchased a PetSafe wireless system for her dog & said it was wonderful. I thought for the money, lets give it a try, from the very moment we put Roxie's new collar on her & showed her the boundary we have never had any issues. She's more behaved & actually comes when you call her now, she knows who's boss. She still barks at the people walking but she doesn't bother even going near the road. Thanks PetSafe for making it possible for Roxie to roam & for us to know she's safe from harms way....

Long time user
I have been using this transmitter for about 11 years. We have trained four dogs with it. We take it with us when we go camping, plug it into an inverter in the truck. Best system I have ever used to contain my dog without an fence. We live in the mountins and do not want a fence. Most of my neightbors are now using it after seeing how good my dogs stay in the yard.

Works, but has its drawbacks
"I was debating the wireless fence or finish fencing in the backyard(already fenced in on two of 3 sides). The cost would have been about the same. I am not completely satisfied with my decision to go wireless. My property is longer than it is wide. My intent was to give the dog the backyard to play in, but because my property is narrow, he loses out on some of the backyard. Set-up was easy, training took all of two days and one zap. I just think it was the wrong item for my yard. I advise you really look at your property and where you are going to put the transmitter before you purchase. Of course if you have a very large yard(none of us here do, very residential) than it probably won't be an issue."

Excellent Freedom for your best friend
Protection around my property and easy access for my dog to protect me when I drive up, garage area and back yard to french doors. My dog has the freedom of not being a lease. Pet Safe Fence is the best item I could buy for my pet and me.

Easy installation, easy to move
"It was extremely easy to install the wireless fence, just plugged it in and set a couple of switches. The correction strength on the collar was easy to set, too. I set it to the maximum possible range, and purchased an extra transmitter to extend the range (I have a large house, put one transmitter at each end). When we went on vacation, and left our dog at a relative's house, I just took one of the transmitters with the dog, and plugged it in there. We had previously used an in-ground fence for several years, but the wire kept breaking and over time the insulation deteriorated, and I got tired of fixing it. Our dog adjusted quickly to the new perimeter, with a little training, but does not like the restricted range. That is my only complaint about this system, we have a large property, and it would be very nice if the range could be increased, FCC regulations permitting. The house walls don't seem to attenuate the signal much, but the ground slopes down from the house, and as a result the perimeter is a little less than the 90 ft maximum radius advertised."

Perfect Control Regardless of Terrain
"We live at the bottom of a canyon with the property backing into the canyon wall. We also have a fence that contained previous dogs without a problem. Currently we have a German Shorthair Pointer that we trained daily for four months to the point that she was totally reliable off leash. We specifically trained her on the property boundaries. She was trained with an eCollar. She would stay in the yard for weeks at a time until she just couldn't stand it anymore and then she would climb the rock ledge abutting the canyon wall and take herself hunting in the surrounding canyon wilderness not to be seen for the rest of the day. My main concern with an invisible fence, including this one, was to cover the access to the canyon wall effectively. This product works perfectly, running right up the hill as far as the signal carries (forever????). It effectively clears the 30 foot cliff directly behind the house. The first day we installed the invisible fence, it took her about 2 hours to test the concept. She got zapped and that was the end of it (pushing into month 3 now). She never tested her two other accesses to the canyon. Since she was already heavily trained on her boundaries prior to the invisible fence, I just put the flags out without training. You can not do that with a dog that has not been trained with an eCollar heavily regarding her boundaries. Last week she made the mistake of venturing out into the front yard because the gate was left open and I found her dancing around yipping back and forth not knowing how to get out of it until I called her back through the gate. (My concern was only the canyon and I had never shown her the boundaries in the front because she would always be on leash leaving the front. Big mistake. They won't figure it out themselves in the 30 seconds you have before they are totally free.) So as the manual says, don't skip the boundary training assuming they will figure it out and apply it elsewhere. Also, the manual suggests resynching the system with the collar once you set it up. I highly recommend not skipping this either, which I did. For some reason, in the late afternoon the collar would activate inside in the house in rooms that were close to the boundary line outside. By resynching the system and the collar, that issue has stopped completely. I highly recommend this very effective and cost efficient system. Several of my neighbors who have normal non-hunting dogs have installed them once they saw how effective it was at keeping my dog from escaping up the canyon wall."

Perfect for our puppies
We have 2 5 month old Westies. We live on a farm. We were having to take the dogs walking on the property which was not near enough exercise for them. They learned this fence in 2 days. It is absolutely perfect. The collars are pretty big on the little guys (12 pound dogs) but they don't seem to mind.

What a great product!
We have two rescue puppies and started using the fence when they began to wander from our property. Within 4 days of training, both knew the boundaries and even with out collars (sometimes we forget to turn the transmitter back on) they will obey the limits. It has been a terrific relief, for we live on a busy street. I would recommend this to anyone who is a responsible pet owner.

Wonderful!
I am so happy that I made this purchase! It has been great for letting my dog run free in the yard without getting into the road or the neighbors yards and from finding something decaying while off roaming about! It has been wonderful. I purchased xtra batteries upon purchase due to comments and that has been helpful to have a backup battery on hand!

Works great from the first day
My pup tested it one time. She will not get within 5' of the flags. Not even for the kids or another dog. This product is worth every penny and more. I live on a very bad road. Thanks The Ruggieri's

best product out there FOR LARGE DOGS; BUT NOT... NOT for Small dogs!
This worked perfectly and easily for our English Springer Spaniel. Too bad they don't make a smaller and lighter collar for the tiny dogs, which we have now. Though I was able to cut the collar down, it's still really too bulky for my little 4 lb Yorkies and the mechanism with the battery is too heavy for their little necks!! Doesn't seem like such a difficult task!!... why can't you make one for the millions of small dogs out there???
