PetSafe Collar

Purchased collar for 2nd dog. Instructions a little confusing. We had trouble because I have hearing loss and neither I nor my husband was able to hear the tone to ensure it is working and to test the system.

Great collar...

This was the collar that came with my second invisible fence kit. The first one had problems with the collars breaking and the replacement collars were far too expensive. I decided to give PetSafe a try and I must say that the system and collar were very easy to set up, very easy to see when it needed to be recharged, very easy to recharge and very easy to put on and off of my dogs. I see some of the reviews here mention the collar breaking where the strap goes through. Mine did eventually break in the same spot but after eight years of dependable use. I could still use it, with some tape modifications, but I have a new dog and I do not want to take any chances. Yes, I thought the price for a collar is high but this being only the second PetSafe collar I have purchased versus four collars in three years for the other leading brand. I think this is worth the expense to keep my dogs safe.
