The Stairway Special Outdoor Pet Gate is our maximum safety gate. Great for decks! No other pet gate works as well for outdoor use.

Constructed of aluminum which is lighter weight than steel and has all stainless steel hardware - no plastic parts. It’s rustproof! Designed for the top of a stairway but great for all areas.

Features include a latch system that baffles toddlers yet allows one hand operation for adults, and an optional stop bracket prevents opening over a stairway for greater safety. The Stairway Special Outdoor Gate will mount at angles up to 30 degrees. A powder-coated finish provides a long lasting, easy-to-clean surface and is available in White, Black, and Brown.

Nice outdoor deck gate.

Easy to install. It's weather proof. Easy to open and close. Keeps the cats on the deck.

Serves its purpose great

I have had the gate for over 3 months. I am using it as an outdoor gate and the rain and winter (snow) has not affected it. Product arrived as advertised. Easy to install, open and close.

Keeps the dog in!

Great product. Would have given it 5 stars if the installation instructions had been a little clearer. Hate just pictures! Seems to be quite sturdy. Brown color goes great with my deck. If I had to do it again, I would mount it an inch or two lower than the directions say. But all in all a good purchase. It keeps my toy poodle in and the neighborhood dogs out.

Stairway Dog Gate

This gate with the matching extension worked perfect on our deck to keep the neighbors black lab from eating our cat food. He also felt it necessary to relieve himself on our cedar shake siding whch the gate eliminated(no pun intended). The quality is good for the price. The brown is more like butterscotch so we will paint it to match our other bronze railing. I recommend this product.
